The current standings after each side has played 6 games. It really has been a cracking tournament and very competitive so far.
 
Is McCullum injured ?
Second game in a row he's not played.
I know his star is on the wane but he's a much better captain than Kohli,who has made some weird decisions in games so far.

I've seen him a lot and he has never made a score or look liked it. Yet he seems to be in all the teams, including England's

Dropped Woakes and had Corey Anderson bowling the death overs

No idea if Woakes has been poor but seemed a strange choice


I think Kohli is a really really poor captain tactically, during the series with England in India they were all over us, yet he just let the game drift and defended for no reason, they could have just rolled us over.

Not hard to see why :lol:

Anderson has been a disaster with both bat and ball.

Woakes has taken a decent amount of wickets but has been expensive. Without looking at their team recently I heard an interview with de Villiers and he said they wanted to get Anderson in as a 6th bowler so maybe they've done that and brought in an Indian bowler for Woakes. RCB have always struggled with the balance of the side. Always have a ridiculous top 5/6 (Gayle/Kohli/de Villiers historically) but 5 crap bowlers so they score 220 or bust.
 
Sunrises have a great bowling side that's defended 132 and 118 two games running, just goes to show good bowling is effective in T20 and good bowlers like Rashid,Narine make a hell of a difference to a side

Close games are exciting either way, have to say the best match I watched was a low scoring one, the Australia South Africa world semi final the one where Donald was run out at the end.

The IPL soo far has been brilliant loads of close exciting games!!
