IMO the squad is performing at around 70% of their potential (if that) if someone got hold of the likes of Khazri, ndong and Januzaj a reckon they all have the quality for the premier league, add to that the obvious proven quality of Defoe and kone and then huge potential of Pickford you have a nucleus of at a side that could at the very least be in a relegation battle

Probably not but he's no better than them and crucially, he and Moyes don't get on so given how shit the season has been we may as well just accept he's not going to feature and he will leave in a few months.
