Jesus wept. Some of those are shocking.

Most of them seem to be either
  • I used to go them on Fifa
  • I liked Ronaldo
  • I like the colours

My personal favourite though...

"i remember watching the world cup USA 94' and ronaldo and baggio became my favourite players

by the time i found out who they played for, it was 1998 and they were both at inter"

Not the sharpest knife in the drawer.:eek:

Inter fan here

First off, I have not come here to spam, troll, flame or in any way shape or form disrupt the harmony of this forum, unlike the classes display that was shown by some of you, on ForzaInterForums yesterday.. In case you're wondering, and have seen me, yes, I am the same Nyall.

But basically from what I've gathered, Sunderland are purchasing one of Inter's least favourable players, a user here probably tried reading up on him and found Forza Inter Forums, saw negative posts about the player - none of which are racist btw, that forum is very strict with that and you can get banned within minutes for any hint of it - and then you guys came to conclusions as to why we feel that way. Unfortunately, almost everything I've seen here as to why we dislike Sulley is wrong. It is not because of the colour of his skin, but because despite having a decent first season with us, Sulley has been our 3rd worst player on our entire roster since he's joined. This was capped off by the decable in Catania where he cost Inter the game in a mere 60 second when he picked up two yellows in quick succession. To make matters worse, Roma were breathing on us at that time and we nearly lost a league because of that. Apart from that, Sulley was terrible in most matches he played under Mourinho and his passing left a lot to be desired.

For those of you, who claimed that he won over Mourinho, you are wrong. Despite being purchased in the middle of July, Muntari was a panic buy after our attempts to sign Lampard had been thwarted, and Mourinho wanted to have his squad completed before the team began its training camp. In his first season, Muntari was a first team starter, and scored several important goals for us, but this did not overshadow the wild passes that would at times bring a halt to our attacking build-ups and he certainly was not the player Mourinho needed for the team that he was envisioning.

In the summer of his second season, Thiago Motta was purchased and this spelt the beginning of the end for Muntari. Sulley, dropped from starter to reserve player and would only see the pitch in time of injury or when the game was already won. And I suppose, this change affected Sulley drastically, especially mentally as Muntari just wasn't the same at all, and he has been one of the players we've tried to get rid of since the end of last season...

Fast forward to now! Thank you Sunderland! Now that that we've finally rid ourselves of him we can finally buy again.. :D On a more serious note, we do over-react on our forum, I can't deny that, and perhaps Sulley will thrive on this team in the EPL, but he was simply not cut out for Inter, and this was highlighted by the fact that he has lost his place in the team to inexperienced teenagers.

--

Now on another, more serious issue. What on the earth gives any of you people the right to judge me, or anyone else on ForzaInterForums and accuse us of not being fans of the club! So what if we do not live in Milano and if some of us have never seen an Inter game live? Is that supposed to change the fact that we love and care for our club so much that we watch every game, read every article, buy every jersey and spend hours upon hours discussing the club. Football is a global sport and Inter are Internazionale di Milano football club. Our team is one of the world's most diverse in terms of races and fan bases.

Although, Inter is fresh off of it's most successful season ever, I can assure you that many of the users on ForzaInterForums, like myself have been Interisti for decades, when the club had gone years without silverware and 17 years without a league title and 45 years without the Champions League, whilst our city neighbours flourished and mocked us. Even though, there was little to defend, we maintained our pride and sang our song "Pazza Inter Amala", shed our tears through disappointed but never abandoned ship. We would give up a lot for our club and who's to say that just because we aren't from Milano, and don't attend games just like those who are from Milan and who do attend games, that our hearts aren't with the players or we don't feel what those fans feel.

cheers.. the lad played 60 games for you.. was a member of your most successfull team in living memory. Are inter fans really that bitter about mis-placed passes?

and why did you choose inter out of the 20 teams in Serie A? why not Lecce, Genoa or Bari?

What gives "fans" on your forum the right to call Sunderland a "shit club" etc? Just because you have chosen to "support" Inter Milan having enjoyed going them on f***ing FIFA doesn't mean you can snobbishly go slagging off other clubs. Watching games and buying shirts FFS, a lot of lads here spend money they don't have to make sure they can get to matches, they take a day out of their weekend and travel to some ground at the other end of the country to see a side who over the last few years has hardly won away from home. More than that, they live in Sunderland, or they have family from there. It's not just about caring for the club, it's about caring for the place it represents. That's what football is, it is clubs from different places playing against each other. You might think Milan sounds nice, but if you have never been there and dont have any family from there you can hardly care about it as much as someone who has roots in the city. For them, Inter going to play a team in Rome is big not just because their club is playing there, it is the club that represents their city playing another city's team so it means that bit more

I'm afraid I will never be convinced that someone who simply turns on their tele, sticks on a replica shirt, watches a game involving a club they have no link to and then turns the TV off could ever feel the highs and lows of that club as much as someone who has it in their blood. I would be very interested to see your reaction when Inter won the Champions League- if Sunderland did it we would have people literally unable to move, crying with joy at having seen the club win something after they have made so many genuine sacrifices to support them over the years, it would be one of the biggest things they had experienced in their life and I'm sorry, but I don't believe you experienced that from behind your computer screen when you've never watched the club live.

People who choose a club because they liked a player who went there, because they went them on FIFA, because someone got them an Inter strip when they wanted a Manchester United one- these people aren't real fans. Dress it up however you wish, they are plastic fans of a club they have never watched from a city they have never been to. Don't come on here pretending that you genuinely feel the highs and lows of Inter Milan in the same way that we feel the highs and lows of SAFC. As I have said before, if you want to support Inter fine, if you have convinced yourself that what you feel is really the same as what real fans feel, then fine, but what boils my piss is the people who go on slagging Sunderland just because they have chosen to latch onto a side that even in its "unsuccessful" spells was still one of the biggest clubs in Italian football

Ronaldo brought me there, and even if he left in 2002, for a dominant Madrid team, I had fallen in love with the club.

oh right... thats not love. You have no idea what love for a football club is.. not a dot.

Re: Inter fan here

It seems we will never found common ground on this. Had this been a Manchester United forum, a Real Madrid forum, a Barcelona forum, a Liverpool forum hell even a Newcastle forum.. there would be no problems.. But Sunderland is just not a club that appeals to people globally, and the club just does not have global fans, the fans that keep the big aforementioned clubs big..

Unlike those teams all your fans come from your city, but that still does not change the fact that we are fans none the less. Btw, it's fans like us that keep your club alive. If everyone watched there games live, and people only supported their local teams, Sunderland wouldn't be receiving millions of dollars every year just because the world, enjoys watching Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Arsenal, play football.

The mere fact that you people have failed to embrace the global aspect of football that it has become with the evolution and improvements of the media, says a lot.. but mainly that you guys are stuck in the 19th century, when people were actually forced to support their home town clubs, because there was no other choice.

Re: Inter fan here

Hang on though, you're 18 right? Since you said about misspelling your name for the last 18 years I'll assume you are. You're trying to make it sound as if you have put up with the bad times and are still supporting them etc. By my reckoning you must have been born around 1992/93. Most people dont really get into football until they are over 10, which means your earliest memories of supporting Inter would be around about 2002 onwards. You experienced Inter winning the title in 06/07 when you will have been around 14 years old, you were runners up when you were 13 in the season you were eventually awarded the title, your team won the top flight again when you were 15, then 16, then 17. Thats 5 titles since you will really have got into supporting Inter Milan about 8 years ago, and you want to come on here and act as if you went years without seeing them win anything?

As well as these Serie A titles, you won the Coppa Italia in 04/05 when you were around 12, then again when you were around 13, and then again last season. you have seen your side win a Champions League, a World Club Cup, a UEFA Cup in 93/94, another one in 97/98.

Fuck sake lad, you go on as if you are some long suffering fan, thats what, 12 major trophies in about 8 years of supporting the club?

I'm sorry if I got your post all wrong and you're actually about 40, but if you're 18 then trying to claim you dont just support Inter because of their success is f***ing laughable. We've got lads on here who were born 37 years ago and who have never seen us win anything other than the second tier title and the f***ing Albufeira Cup. Interisti for decades my f***ing bellend

out of interest mate, who are your closest football club. lets say a league one, not a non-league one.
