Eh? Am I being wooshed here? It's just a button people click as a convenient way of expressing their like of or agreement with something. What's it got to do with safety and danger?

Its not just a button, its very dangerous as I have been saying for years, there has been a mountain of research done on it, only now the major companies are waking up to it.

Interesting. Have many forums tried it without likes. To me it would be a bit dry, sometimes you want to support a viewpoint without commenting. But I get your point

It meant that there were less poor posts just trying to angle for likes from other poor posters, and people responded with their opinions on posts.
