could it be done away with?

just thinking out loud here so go easy on me - i know it's very idealistic.

no transfer fees, teams can have a squad of 25 and are allowed to swap players rather than buy / sell / loan them.

all the players get paid the same basic wage.

gats receipts and revenue for all clubs gets put into a pooled fund. Ticket prices are set at a standard price across-the-board.

i know there are probably a lot of reasons why this wouldn't work but i think it would be good because teams would succeed or fail based on having good training, youth teams, clever management rather than a rich chairman.

no team would go for that, the best you could ever hope for is the draft system to try and even out who gets the best players. Even that will never happen.

Why why why post this. There is theoretical then utterly unworkable, illogical, retarded arse drippings. FUCK OFF!

What happens to all the money?

well i was just thinking about the borini thing, and the way Southampton have been stripped by the vultures this summer. You can't argue that money hasn't had a negative influence on the game in the past 20 years or so?

What happens to all the money?

i guess it could go to charity!

invested in grass roots footy or something. Hadn't really thought that far ahead tbh

What the fuck does his theoretical bullshit have to do with redressing the effect money has in the game. Nothing. Absolute nonsensical irrelevant cock wash.

Throw in a phase three with loyalty points averaging and I'm in marra!

Erm its a product with a market value which you cannot suppress so alas your entire post is crap. .

The best clubs would still get all the best players only now that there are no transfer fees and equal money, it means we'd also lose our players to clubs abroad as well. There'd also be no use for an academy because there's no point in spending money on developing players if you can just get the best ones for free from other clubs.

Do what the yanks did with baseball. No transfer fees and if a club want rid another just buys out the contract. Limit the no. Of players a club can have on the roster and make clubs operate as a business. Of course the biggest clubs still win most things as they can afford the highest wages but you do stand more of a chance then currently.

What happens to all the money?
It goes towRds even higher wages

Is the downside
Why invest in an academy
