Haway put the tin foil hat awaySo lads....England batted abysmylly no doubts on that but
No side on replay shown for ishants wicket with no ball either side
2 close lbws given when batsman hit above knee roll or with sharp spin (crawley given not out yet hitting bails somehow) DRS showing them clipping....
Jack leach caught yet camera behind appears to show it bounce and yet no zoom in or other camera angle until after given out.
I think the onfield umpires have been pretty decent for the tests but there has just seemed something off with the decisions using technology since England won the 1st test
Archer was injured. Bess spent the second innings chucking pies & bowling half-trackers.
Neither Ali or Foakes were the reason we lost.
Prick as well. Much like the majority of his teammatesAshwin does my head in, he's a classic class at "home", crap away, cricketer.

Foakes has looked in relatively little bother every time he bats against spin. They are done from Chennai. It's in their heads every ball is turning square and it's not. Probably another reason why test cricket is so good.
I know you didn't say it explicitly mate, but that's the logical conclusion if we say it were the changes that caused us not to win.Quite a reach that based on what I said marra.
I think that concept went out of the window years ago.Umpires have seemed a bit keen to put the finger up the last two tests- dont think its wrong to say the batsman arent getting the benefit of doubt
Most of them have been umpires call though. That’s the problem as no matter what the ump is right. If he doesn’t give it out, then he’s right, he gives it out, he is right againThe Broad LBW decision now is the only decision that the onfield umpires have got wrong all morning against us anyway. Its beyond ridiculous that people complain about LBWs being given out LBW when they are LBW. I'm sorry bit it is just complete and utter bias. A couple of years ago the Windies were over here and had 8 consecutive umpiring decisions that went against them and there wasn't a hint of cheating being discussed at all. Complete sour grapes.
Agreed, DRS shows them clipping bails and fingers straight up. Neutral umpires with DRS behind them have tended not to give the super close ones knowing the fielding team can review if they think its a shocker.![]()
The ump sharp had the finger up, knowing he could not be wrong either way. These lads are being played by the Indian team.
they annoy ashwin, kohli and shastri no nice ipl gig.
we will never know if the standard neutral umps would have been better
I wouldn't suggest they are corrupt, but they do know how to play the percentages. They can give the umpires calls more often than not and it must make a big difference.Agreed, DRS shows them clipping bails and fingers straight up. Everytime England get hit on the pads its seems like the umpires finger is straight up
It’s alright, when the Indians bat those won’t be given. It is though, I’ve provided evidence from an earlier post that I did in fact call the dubiousness of the bounce on DRS earlier on. You called it sour grapes, but my first mention of it was when Crawley was given not out. I’m not keen on being called a liar, which you insinuated when you said I hadn’t said anything about the Crawley ‘not out’.
Call me partisan, biased, a twat, no bother. Don’t call me a liar though.
Shhh, the analyst will be all over that oneHave we completely forgotten about the dew in the subcontinent by the way.
How's the ball gonna swing when it's soaking wet?
We’ve batted about as bad as I can ever remember tbh. Wouldn’t have made a difference if they gave them all out as they’d have got out next ball anyway. Heads completely gone for them all. Did you see how pissed off Root was with the way Kohli was going on? He needs to be calmer than that or you won’t score runs.Personally I think it's half India getting a lot things going their way and England performing like drains.
still a good chunk of the day left. england will have to justify the selection and get five wicketsPersonally I think it's half India getting a lot things going their way and England performing like drains.
No I didn't mate but I think its sad that likes of India and Australia would rather act like arseholes to win a bloody cricket matchWe’ve batted about as bad as I can ever remember tbh.
