RR has became tedious as fuck very quickly.

They can post literally anything they want and people will believe it due to the podcasts

The way theyre going on youd think stewart was texting them when he goes for a shite. Loada shite
I know what you mean sort of, although if they are getting snippets from inside the club I'd rather it be them than the other journo's who have done nowt but bad mouth the club for years, looking for anything to use as a stick to beat the club. The only thing I have a problem with is the lads at RR seem to all be carrying themselves like they've all got 12" knobs suddenly. I don't know any of them personally so may be completely wrong but I've noticed a change in the way they are reporting.

What is the point of it then? You have to try and summarise the content in about 95 characters - not easy.

To provide a summary of the article. Not to pose a question, not to encourage sharing, not to goad people into a discussion but to summarise. It's all googles fault, social marketing everywhere.

Please provide me with one example of this happening - we'd never do such a thing. You're being more misleading than any headline RR have produced recently ;)

Not sure you know what the word misleading means...

And if you're telling me you don't know they've been doing that you're talking rubbish. Those podcasts were a coup but the subsequent patting of own backs was borderline unbearable.

You're still yet to provide me with an example.

Because I'm not trawling through tweets just so you can stick your fingers in your ears and ignore what's blatantly obvious again. You've just denied you write clickbait, then accepted you do but it's fine because everyone does.

You'll now say since I haven't provided the evidence you demanded that I'm talking shite. Sigh.

Embarrassing man.

People are getting pissed off by a headline on a fan site
Some lunatics on this place at the moment then. They're expecting a fan site to only post hard facts now, that'll be fun to read.

As another poster said, I don't think RR ever claimed to be BBC news.

I think part of the annoyance is that some fans know more than others, just look at whenever an ITK posts on here, the PM requests, abuse etc.

It is frustrating all the teasing, but I'm pleased SD is dealing with RR who are undoubtedly just passionate fans at the end of the day.

This thread is Gold.

People kicking off with a fan site that have done really well and the new owners (who came from this kind of background at the start) have recognised that fans like news coming direct instead of being twisted by the local and national gutter press. People not understanding what clickbait is, at all.

Gold.

FWIW, RR is pretty much an open forum. We post a feature every day called Fan Letters whereby anyone can submit their thoughts to our letters page.

FAN LETTERS: "To my fellow Sunderland supporters - stop hassling Stewart Donald on Twitter!"

Email us if there's owt getting your goat and we'll be sure to respond in kind. Better than me endlessly arguing with people on here who wouldn't know the foggiest or with where to start on running a fanzine and all that comes with it.

If people don’t like RR then don’t read it, don’t listen to their podcasts and don’t follow them on Twitter. What’s the point in doing so and then just twisting on about it? Leave it to the rest of us that enjoy it. It’s the way of the internet I guess.

How precious is your time and your ‘click’ that it can’t be baited anyway? Most of those complaining spend most of their lives on here so I can’t imagine they’ve got anything too pressing on.

This forum is full of adverts and the people complaining probably spend hours every day on here.

This. It's embarrassing.

Wouldn't surprise me if a few of these posters having a pop work at the Echo or Chronicle.

I think it's garbage and would rather they stuck to just reporting on facts.

They're in a position to do that now and should seize the opportunity to rise above the tiddle-taddle shite.

Tbf the clickbait "style" is all over the internet these days, usually underneath proper news articles, Facebook etc.

Pic of a pretty lass "you'll never know why they were cheering her on"

Pic of someone holding a bit slime "this secret ingredient will change your life"

Lass screaming with what looks like a stingray humping her from behind "she had seconds to live"

Probably not quite the right style to relay info from the club but I'm sure they'll get it right.
