Remember years ago when I was teaching Japanese people English the woman were a bit upset when I welcomed the entire class with guys. I've always used it unisex. Not sure if I'm the only one, like. :lol:

We've been called guys by waiting staff when it's been a group of females dining.

Why not just day ladies & gentlemen I hate the term guys even if it's a room full of blokes should be

Morning lads if just men or morning ladies if room full.of women.

I was teaching Japanese people using an American based curriculum in a relaxed setting.
