In with the home fans

I did it at Burton this year with a Burton supporting friend. There was another older Sunderland fan a couple of rows in front making no effort to disguise it. But we were in the furthest seats from the away fans down the side and the atmosphere was pretty family like and more like a rugby match. I wouldn't dare somewhere bigger or even a home skunks match with friends I'd hate it.

Few times incl Sid James 76 and 80, not pleasant

Everton when Bridges played a blinder was a good'un because it turned out there was loads of us and there was no chew

So anyone else doing it Monday? I’ve done the Gallowgate when we drew 1-1 years back so thinking this should be ok.

As long as you don’t make yourself obvious mate. I couldn’t do it personally. Did it at Colchester under Keane when we lost 3 1 couldn’t contain myself when we scored and that match didn’t matter. This one is much much bigger. I wish you the best of luck mate.

Will be in with the sheff wed fans on Monday.

Last time was at old Trafford when we beat them on pens. We were right next to our fans sat with a load of part time man u fans, lots of them there for their first time. By the pens we'd stopped bothering keeping quiet.

There'll be loads of Sunderland fans in their end and will help dilute their atmosphere.

Been in the home end against Derby and Boro, jumped up when we scored in both games, no one said owt and we weren't booted out either.

We used to do this a lot in our teens , remember going in the paddocks at the Baseball Ground in around 1986 ish

Think we lost 3-2 not sure, I got slapped around and thrown out, didn't even get to do the celebratery walk around the pitch to the away section and get applauded by our fans

Me and my brother did it at the baseball ground years ago, we managed to get in no problem and made our way to the back of the stand and kept our mouths shut.
As the stand started filling up a lot of their lads started staring at us muttering to themselves. Finally a steward came up to us and asked if we were Sunderland, when we told him yes lads started coming up to us shouting shit.
We were frog marched to pitch side whilst expecting a fair few slaps but nowt happened! Got into the away and happy days!

Better then my experience at Derby then

I was in with the Stoke fans last time we played them in the prem. Defoe scored the last minute penalty equaliser and thank fk it was the last minute cos I couldn't help myself and had to make a sharp exit.
