You have the option to go elsewhere, no one is making you stand next to a smoker.

Why should a smoker not be allowed to smoke purely because others dont?

It's a silly law that is discrimating against many people. In other aspects of society, many are massively sensitive to discrimination; if the anti-smoking campaign goes any further I think its only a matter of time before people who do smoke react to it.

The most sensible option would be to have smoking areas within a place like a football ground, gives people the option. Without it, you are taking away that option.
Because smoking kills people. In an enclosed space, the fumes get everywhere. If in the concourse and you are smoking then your fumes will reach me wherever I am. You are a typical ignorant, selfish smoker

How can a smoker be ignorant? they are being forced to the periphery of society...it is someones individual choice to smoke.

you seem to be a typical authoritative anti-smoker in all honesty.

People should be given a choice.

id rather not get lung cancer from your habit thanks very much. Smoking is a choice, you choose to smoke, you choose to infect others with your fumes so are , rightly asked to do it somewhere else.

Also, if you can't go a couple of hours without sucking on your cancer sticks then I think you have a problem.

Paint all the concrete breeze blocks red & white in the lower bowl. Also brighten up that red concrete area behind the goal and down the side of the pitches. Last but not least (tin hat on) Replace red & white checked goal nets to all white.

Not allowed them. Anything other than White is alleged to disfigure advertisements behind the goal.

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

aye,, if you smoke its an automatic assurance of cancer like.

Maybe they can zap the whole thing with radiation to try and rid the club of the poisonous cancer that's made it rotten to the core.

Or maybe a liberal distribution of weed killer.

More turnstiles.

Some of the queues getting into the ground when it's a full house (or close to) are ridiculous.

I always wonder what it is that people do that takes them so long to get through the fuckers. Walk up, card in, light goes green and push the gate, should take 5 seconds max, yet every game we end up stuck in a queue of people who fuck it up. It's like they're stood waving their Tesco clubcard around and wondering why it isn't opening or something. I've seen people stand in a massive queue, get to the front, stand in the gateway and then decide it's time to get their wallet out and start looking for their card. Mental.

A couple of reasonably priced, well ran, well stocked bars inside the ground at either end and in the Prem Concourse with somewhere to watch early kickoffs etc. And maybe a place outside in a permanent marquee over looking the river with seating would be decent. Sort out halftime queueing fiasco.

Free wifi,

Brighten up the concourse generally and add reminders of our history to the inside of the stadium. Big photo placards of shack, hurley, raich etc. Memorable moments from our history aswell. SAFC could donate some money to the flag fund.

Basically make it somewhere you would happy to spend more time and more money at before the game. Try to bring a sense of history to a fairly bland modern building and generate more atmosphere during the games.

improve the faces of the people from east durham who claim to make up the bulk of the support when in fact there are about 200 of them and they still prefer to watch liverpool or man utd
