Improvement Yet Again

amazing how people fail to see this, west ham next two games are man united and arsenal....palace have newcastle and villa, fulham have man city next....

dont know why people who support sunderland are insisted we are going down, almost like those so called fans want us to go down

The negativity is becoming tedious. If it's a sure thing they should put their mortgages on it and fuck off.

Agreed, I thought we were excellent. Shame we didn't take our chances but there's no point dwelling on it, that performance has given me faith that we'll be okay. We had 19 attempts at goal today, very encouraging.

And what did we get for it? West Ham were piss poor; other teams will take their chances as they have this far this season.

There's no doubt we are improving but until we start picking up 3 points we aren't going to climb out of this mess. For what it's worth I still think we'll survive!

We made West Ham look poor by keeping the ball and winning the second ball.

Failing to win a game against a poor team we should have won is not improvement.

Identical to villa.
Of course it's an improvement. 2 points and 2 clean sheets in consecutive away games constitutes improvement. It's extremely disappointing that we haven't managed to win either but it IS improvement on our previous away games. May I remind you that we've lost at Hull, stoke and Crystal Palace already this season.

It's working - that was excellent today and but for another turned down penalty appeal, the width of the crossbar or the Jaaskelainen save we'd have gotten the three points we deserved. I could get used to watching this football under Gus.

You joking?

It was almost training attack vs. defense with West Ham showing nothing in our half, for us not to score is inexcusable. To rely on penalty appeals is pathetic and passing neatly in between both boxes masks our weakness in front of goal.

We're passing the ball very well. We created many opportunities and we looked very organised.

I'm glad we've appointed Poyet.

Improvement? I'll consider it an improvement when we start scoring goals, they're f***ing shite passing it about the box like a hot potato, get the fucker in and we might score.

Is this a wind up? I really do despair at some of the knackers who follow Sunderland like.

Was it improvement or was it just the fact that West Ham are absolute gash?

they have some good players and are underperforming - they looked poor, but we made them look poor. Usually teams up there game against us for some bizarre reason. Poyet has to take some credit for outplaying them.

should have saved those 3 goals we scored against Chelsea for today!
The way we got the ball up to Ki and were around their box so easily was great to watch - our shooting was utterly shite. Could've won that 4 nil.
