IMDB ratings made up/distorted?

Which bit did you like the most?

The bullshit opening with the cheesiest dialogue I've heard in any film in years, the stupid noises hux keeps making, the overdramatic acting of that girl who keeps kicking the stairs or the fact that gravity now exists in space so the bombs can fall?

The lack of answering any pertinent questions from the previous movie.

The terrible acting from that Kelly tran lass

The fact that rey is a badass with next to no training at all.

Lets go offworld to find some password thingy and have a scene about casinos, rich people and animal welfare that has the... orhh that scene where she goes "now its worth it", cringing at the thought. I get those things can be important but isn't the galaxy at stake not more so?

The destruction of all canon, if you vcan fly a ship through a bigger ship using hyperdrive. Why not just do that all of the time. It made the whole movie pointless. There was no need for going to get the password thingy (they didn't even use it in the end) there was no need for the chase and the destruction of 2 of the main rebel ships. Just abandon ship at the start, turn it around and boom it straight through them. Could've done that in all the movies tbh and the whole thing would've been over long ago. Terrible decision from whoever signed that off.

Then ofcourse the final fight scene, what an anti-climactic piece of shit that was. No battle, just Luke looking like he's got a few spare hips (that matrix bullet time flip back thing was embarrassing), and no battle at all followed by yet more hux being a jabbering idiot.

Also, admiral holdo, a character with no backstory, no reason to be there and acts like a bitch just so she doesn't have to tell poe her plan. What??? Its ridiculous.

Captain phasma aswell... why does admiral holdo get a movie about her stunted, shite performance of bitchyness yet captain phasma who can out act her in a chrome fart box and yet shes hardly used then dies....

The small scaleness of the whole thing is ridiculous aswell. Wheres the senate? wheres the galactic armies? why does no one seem to give a fuck the foirst order blew up about 7 planets in episode 7.

The whole things a mess. An embarrassing mess. I honestly can't think of one moment I genuinely went this is brilliant. The bit where rey and kylo took on the guards was fantastic but amidst the whole shitstorm of snoke dying with again no background, context, anything... it was just wedged in.

Star was is all about the lore, the cannon they name them episodically ffs. The story matters to people, and this one was driven off a cliff. Like I said a good movie in terms of cinematography and effects, you can't deny it looks amazing. but what was actually taking place was just a convoluted mess.

I watched a video last night proving the ratings were distorted. If anyone gives a movie less than 1 star they are discarded. It's understandable I guess.
