They don't but if you can't see why it might be a problem for someone suffering from addiction I'd suggest you are a bit of a numpty.
FFS... so the majority are tarnish because a minority. I know lets just ban all forms of gambling...

Fancy anyone having a go at labour because they suggest doing something to benefit society

I would be saying the same if any party suggested it...

Because I feel like I'm being told that I'm not trusted to live my life right, on my own without temptation.

To be honest, when they started this with tobacco, I felt the same. But now I agree with what they've done; they've not made it illegal and they've not made it harder to do, all they're doing is pushing it out of the mainstream consciousness. Which is where gambling and smoking should be.

Great idea. If the bookies think its unfair then ask them to unban the punters that actually beat them. The whole thing is rigged, you can only bet with them if you lose, if you win consistently they ban you or reduce your stakes so its pointless. All they want is mug footie acca and first goalscorer punters and losing addicts. Thats why they shouldnt be allowed to advertise.

I'd ban the payday loan outfits too, we laugh at the Wonga Mags but there's Satsuma Loans signs on the SOL and they're the same sort of outfit

f***ing disgrace imo, people can big up the free market all they like but they're still shit house companies
To be honest the rates they charge are criminal in some countries . I would say that they can only advertise if the APR is less than 20%. In previous centuries it would have been seen as usury to charge more than 20% interest. In fact William Shakespeare's father was found guilty of charging 20% interest on a loan and had to stand down from his elected place on the Town Council.

This is only affecting football shirt sponsorship, so they are picking and choosing who they go after. The tobacco ban was across the board. I'd probably get over it quite quickly in the big scheme of things, but not when they pick and choose it gets on my tits end...

To be opposed to this is to claim that advertising has no affect on consumerism, which is madness. Less people betting is a good thing. Aye it's fun if you can afford it, but not everybody who does so can.
A bit like those daft bastard politicians/lobbyists who were in the employ of the tobacco companies and claimed advertising had no effect on the volume of tabs sold, it was all about brand share.

I get all that. We have been sponsored by Dafabet, Tombola and Boylesports, I have never used any of these.

:lol::lol::lol: BUFFOON :lol:
But you know about them and see them as supporters of our club, hence they are the good guys. This is how kids are drawn in, so you make my point for me
