i'm really surprised how calm it is on here about the management situation.

Bigger fish to fry atm I’m afraid. We’re at literal war with the mags. Full on invasion.
Well done, this made me chuckle 🤣. First FA Cup tie between us in most people’s lives and it has created an unprecedented level of hysteria. If we win horses will die. If they win then nothing will happen as we’re getting our meltdown out of the way before the game even starts.

Dodds will be worried about losing his job.

He wont and I'm sure hes had reassurances but from his point of view he will be worried about an outstanding candidate insisting on bringing their own team.

I can see it being a major obstacle to getting who we want.

I think the players have proved that they can perform, they did it when Golem dropped us in the shit, and again when Mowbray was paid off, these lads deserve a lot of credit for the way they go about their business, we have a group of very special players IMHO.

As much as people may spout otherwise i detect a certain level of trust in what the board are working on
Because we won.

This place is always less mental after a win.

Lose tonight and that will sharp change(even though playing leeds in torrential rain will be a very difficult game)

For me it's more a case of we can do nothing about the situation anyway, so no point in getting bent out of shape over it. Of course, the win helped! :)
This, and what made it more significant was it took us back into top 6. We can see we're still very much in contention for the play-offs.

We’re in a decent position. In the top 6 and still have a togetherness in the team.

The board got it right last 2 appointments so we’re happy to just let them have the time to get it right again.

Mind you, if West Brom beat us we wouldn’t be as patient.

Strange thing is apparently I’m actually less concerned about going up this season than Speakman and KLD are.
All I want is to keep playing stylish football and bring through more young talent.
So it’s win/win for me.
Tin hat on but I think I'd rather beat the mags than go up this season such is the little interest I have in us getting promoted at the minute. Just enjoying going to games and watching us play the way we are.

No need to worry, we have a free hit this season now, we’re not going down, only way it up. All positives

Last game and this one tonight we're almost free hits given our oppositions form.
3 points is already probably 2 more than most fans were probably expecting.
Different story if no coach in by Saturday
