i'm really surprised how calm it is on here about the management situation.

I’ll be happy if it’s Will Still. If it’s Heckingbottom I’ll just had to “trust the process”
Yeah me too. If it’s Heckinbottom I’ll just think “Well he got Sheffield Utd up….he could get us up and get sacked after.”
If it’s Dodds I’ll think “Well at least the football will stay entertaining and eventually we’ll get someone else in”
But it would be more exciting to get someone who you could imagine us sticking with after promotion

Doddsy looked and sounded very nervous on Saturday, I don’t think that he’d be willing to take it on.
He fancies it if offered. He didn't say no when he was asked the question in the press conference. He said the typical answer of "oh I haven't thought about it" like when you ask a politician if they want to be prime minister
But it would be more exciting to get someone who you could imagine us sticking with after promotion
I'd hope the point of shifting Mowbray was to get somebody in who is capable of getting us up (not necessarily this year) and then keeping us up

Haven’t you learned yet that Dodds dodders but Speakman speaks.
He’s terrible in front of the camera like.
I don’t expect him to have the skills for that, as long as he’s a good coach. But I’d be very surprised if he wants the risk/reward of being a head coach.

I’m guessing as much as everyone else though.

Yeah, I’d love a show of long term thinking.

Surprised at how calm I have been also to be honest it’s strange but I am one who has faith in what the club is trying to do

how calm it is on here about the management situation.
As much as people may spout otherwise i detect a certain level of trust in what the board are working on
We've just won. If we'd lost to West Brom or if we don't get a result tonight, the sky would/will be falling in.

The immediate 6 before KLD

Moyes, Grayson, Coleman, Ross, Parkinson, Johnson. Double relegation and utter failure to get us out of the 3rd division.

The two KLD has been across
Neil - finally promoted
Mowbray - Play offs

I’m very calm with what they’re doing. They’ve had immediate impact with the two so far

They haven't sacked Mowbray to appoint Dodds or they would have done it by now.
I would say that if Dodds has apllied for the job, then he'll be in the mix with the rest of them. The people who now run the Club do things in a measured way, not on impulse. They might like Dodds, but are seeing what else is out there before appointing. Thank goodness

Yeah, plus Christmas is on the horizon, and frankly right now organisation of that is more important that worrying about, how the people in charge are running the show. And personally I think they will give it doddsy till the end of the season it’s the easiest thing they can do, if he wins a few more games and builds up his popularity.

It’s a strange one. We’re not a stoke or Rotherham at the bottom and sacked
Because of a fear of relegation. Honestly, didn’t even know how Swansea were doing or are in the table (assume on a bad run) bit like a Brum who were sixth and didn’t really need to sack him but at least they had one in waiting. Suprised we didn’t have someone lined up to step in, which we clearly didn’t. (targets maybe) still bit if a weird sacking (which every other forum I looked at agree)

I don’t think TM picking up 1 point against 3 teams lower than us will have gone down well with the management. We looked a lot sharper against WBA and the build up was quicker. Let’s see how the team performs tonight
