Looking forward to it me, should be a good game.

Yes some are overpaid egotistical tossers who have lost touch with the modern fan but so are some Sunderland players and it wont stop me supporting them

Still thinking about wether or not i should go along like. Know a few lads heading over early morning and making a weekend of it

Dont you know its cool on here not to support England and want them to lose.

I dont like the manager (should of been sacked) or most the players but always watch England and support them, its were im from, my country I cant change that. Same way I support Sunderland and always have regardless of manager/Players and I cant help that.

Support the country not the individuals....do you think the Welsh will be not supporting Wales because they dont like Bellamy?

Couldn't have said it any better myself. Especially the first sentence, bunch of tools trying to be cool

Oh no. The TV viewing figures are going to be really low. Anymore of this and they might stop showing England games altogether.

The SMB strikes again.

always wondered why they bothered building wembley up again, would have been much better to the play the games around the country give everyone a chance to see england no just londoners.in spain and germany they take it round the country so everyone gets the chance to watch there national side.

It seems to be 'hip' to say how much you don't care about England and then jump on the bandwagon as soon as a major tournament comes around.

Thats another thing that boils my piss, all England games should be on terrestrial telly so all the nation can watch the national side should they want to, but money talks.

The crickets on at 9am. If we've sauntered past the sri lankans target of 275 by 3 oclock i'll watch the footy nee bother.

Good excuse to go down the pub man. :)

I watched a lot more of England and cared a lot more about England results when they played across the country. Now they are back at Wembley and are just another London club. The manager has visited the North East twice in his tenure so far - which is a disgrace - and the players are, in the main, a bunch of twats. There is nothing there to tie me to them at all.

There will be about 10,000 of us in Cardiff tomorrow. Listen to the accents and look at the flags and that myth is easily exploded.

Despite the attitude of some on this board, SAFC is actually very well represented indeed amongst England supporters. Always several SAFC flags at away games - and inevitably bump into SAFC supporters I know.

We need somewhere to play our FA/League etc cup finals anyway.

Aye always a large sunderland contingent. Been a few away games where ive seen very big numbers from sunderland (scotland, italy, ireland to name a few)

take them around the country.old trafford, emirates etc.no point having a national stadium for fa cup finals.IMO would have been better to bulldoze wembley and play england games around the country, might get more people intrested for a start.

Its a load of shite man. Theres loads from the northern towns travel with England.

At away games you see the towns/stadiums decked out with the St.Georges cross and you can see how many different northern clubs are represented.

There were loads of Northern Irish in Germany supporting England. They come from all over the place.

I like the fact we have a national stadium but I still think the England games should be moved around the country, especially the friendlies.

think every game has to be played at wembley just to pay for the stadium, waste of money IMO.

And what of the representation of the club at playing level especially over the last 15 years or so? Name me the last Sunderland player to hold down a regular England place.

Mickey Gray, Gavin McCann, Jordan Henderson, Darren Bent (when he had a love for the club) and SKP amount to the number of England players to have pulled on the England jersey over the last 15 years or so and every one barely played a handful of games. So we are talking about a player likely in the 80's or even 70's at the most recent.
