I'm Not Sorry Lads , I'd take Poyet or Di Canio back in a heartbeat

This was in response to Rubberface who said, 'Nobody who has watched O'shea since the day he arrived here can say he hasn't gave 100% in every game he's played. Ultimate professional and only 1 of a handful since he's been here who genuinely seemed gutted after a defeat. Wish him all the best.' I should have quoted his comment first of course.
I know what you were getting at bit why have you singled out 1 game in god knows how many yrs he's been here?

There have been many games including own goals and perhaps the look at game of the season just ended to illustrate that Rubberface's silly assertion that O'Shea has given 100% in every game he's played for us.

You can't blame own goals as lack of effort you absolute melt.

I've not been abusive to you so I can only assume your comments underlie your inability to defend your point of view.
No, your being a right pedantic bugger. If you don't think O'shea has gave 100% every time he put a Sunderland shirt on then your obviously on a wind up.

I wasn't Keown it was Nigel Winterburn.

That Arsenal defence was about as good as it gets. Adams, Bould, Keown, Dixon, Winterburn. They would be worth tens of millions today.
Some reason I always get known mixed up in that clip

On,y thing I had with O'Shea was the way he grabbed opponents how he never gave away more penalties beyond me

Part from that superb for us

This is why I developed a soft spot for Arsenal. Proper footy, a scary defence that attackers would just bounce off or find themselves needing the magic sponge.

They're the polar opposite now. Soft as shite under Arsene, which is why they can't win the league, despite having a talented squad.

Nahh , the News said he was mental and you lapped it up , not my problem marra
Sorry fella but your rewriting history ..............I judged PDC on his behaviour and by any measure he was not suited for management ..His hs been demonstarated for his lack of an clubs wanting his services.................Yes he might get a gig at a lower divison club as his name will put a few more £££ on the gate bu he wont manage at any decnt level in this ountry again......Poyet is a decent manager but he will be tarnished by buying those useless fekkas from brighton....but we dont know what was going on behind the scenes and we do know there was little money and congerton was an arse !

Absolutely loved the rivalry they had with Man United from the late 90's/mid 00's. The two best teams in the country renowned for playing attacking football and the two sets of managers and players seemed to genuinely hate each other, brilliant stuff.

I am not being pedantic. Generally, O'Shea has been a good servant of the club but so many posters on this board go from one extreme to the other. To say he's always given 100% is quite frankly ridiculous. Of course it might be possible to play badly despite giving of your best but ...

Di Canio was the boyo.
Bring him home

Declared a lunatic only by the same losers who complained when he asked them to eat/train/behave like professional athletes.
I'm sure I read something about Guardiola banning ketchup etc from City's training centre. Basically a wankathon about how attentive to details his is etc.
PDC did it and he's insane

Definitely. Football was electric back then. Now it's all getting a bit boring tbh.

You've contradicted yourself with your last 2 statements. Unbelievable.
