Can't think of any that haven't been done.

Wendy's had a go and then pulled out in 2000.

Ihop tried under a different name and are looking at coming back next year.

Would probably want something that would be vaguely recognisable, otherwise what's the point in franchising.

Denny's, white castle or red lobster spring to mind.

None. They’re all like gross man.

There’s a small chain of high class burger joints in Houston called Becks Prime that used to do a swordfish sandwich and their fries are proper dark brown real spud fries with the skins on. Used to love that place but it hardly qualifies as a franchise.

Let’s face it, as soon as you start getting your bait from a ‘franchise’ you’re well on the way to scratterdom. Taco Bell FFS man. I’m hardly a food snob but I’d rather eat dog meat.

Joe's Pizza would be convenient, although it's not really a chain as it's just in NYC iirc.

Never had a White Castle or an In-N-Out Burger but they're both meant to be cracking.

Edit: Joe's Pizza is absolutely not a franchise and I should have read the OP properly.
