If we win against Leeds..(Dodds as manager)

If we win against Leeds do we not start thinking about Mike Dodds as new manager ?
He knows the players and was the constant when Neil left.
Has had big success with the Bellinghams .
Might be worth a punt..sometimes better the devil ye know ??

No

When does it work? It’s not 1975 anymore.
Pep guardian and klopp were both appointed from within when they started management.

Not saying I'd appoint Dodds because I absolutely wouldn't. But that doesn't mean a good coach/manager to be can't step up.

As I said on the other thread Speakman has known him for years and brought him to the club, if he and Dodds thought he should be head coach why not give him the job when Neil got it or Mowbray. We could win lucky tomorrow and he get's the job or lose unluckily and he doesn't? It makes no sense. Speakman knows exactly what Dodds can and can't do, and appointing him on the back of two quick matches suggests they are making it up as he goes along. Remember the last time he was in charge and it was a nightmare, is that just ignored?

As already said on this thread, No.
