If the crowd was 38k and the capacity was 42k

Not sure why the capacity gets so much debate on here. Seems odd to complain about people not going to people who do actually go.

I also think we have not been helped in recent weeks by the timings of games. Last 3pm game before the mags was villa (iirc), and i think the crowd was pretty good for that one. Now we have a monday game, a sunday game and then the festive period, so we might not get consistent saturday 3pm fixtures til the middle of Jan.

Lets wait to see what the crowd is for Bolton on the 18th Dec. Keep up our recent run of performances and i'd guess we might even get 45,000+

Good point.

Personally i think that's too cheap if we are wanting to compete at the level we are at now and possibly higher. Tin hat on like.

It's all spiralled out of control with wages, there should have been a cap long ago, even the NFL could manage that. Probably too late now so all the stadiums will continue to have empty seats. They probably like that anyway as it keeps the heathen away and TV money more than compensates.

Ticket money is trivial compared to TV money from Sky & foreign rights. It's well over a billion quid for the last contracts, that isn't enough? What do we bring in with season tickets? Not even the money we spent on one player never mind his wages.

Do you know how much it costs for a ticket to an NFL match?

The Bolton game will be our lowest league attendance of the season even if we win every game between now and then.

no way is a tenner too expensive

some fuckers need a job

About 2 million isn't it? Not going to get any better under this government either (sorry wrong board)

Does the 25-man squad rule not count in Europe like? Serious question, i don't know.

25 man squad is for Premiership. You can name players excluded from the Premiership squad in Europe.

The Manchester clubs charge around £46 a ticket. Suspect it's similar if not more at Spurs. Villa might charge less, but they give up every time they get in Europe. So if we're successful, we can't just drop ticket prices. In fact they will rise

The cheapest is comparable to a footie ticket - the top end is pretty expensive mind

Are you sure? When i've priced up for tickets they've been more expensive than the Sol n'arl.

I'm not clued up on NFL ticket sales but when I watch it they all seem pretty full and they're a lot bigger than our stadium. From what I've seen, they're not struggling to sell out. They also have blackouts where the game isn't shown in that area if it's not totally sold out but I guess that doesn't matter here with all pubs showing the games regardless.

So even the cheapest is way more expensive than the Sol? A tenner entrance fee would be ridiculous imo.

you've got to remember that they only get 8 home games a season and there are only 32 teams for 250 million people.

Good point

Yet another attendance thread by Its Him Again. YAWN.

Wish I had a fiver per thread. Would be rich now.

IGNORE. :)

You were off on the USA population by more than 57million people. Which is just a little less than the UK (61million). England has 51million.

That proves your point more though.
