It wouldn't...as long as the team are trying and putting it in the crowd will be with them. From a financial point of view it's a goer but we all know what what would happen. A few defeats and the atmosphere would be toxic.

Refusing to comment, not because I don't have the blind hope that we could do it. It's more that I said I thought we'd struggle to finish above 20th after the summer recruitment and thus proving; I know sweet FA.Yes, I know that no one thinks this will happen but it is possible mathematically. If it did how many of our current squad could cope in the top flight?

We would have £150 million to buy players if we did go up via the play offs.Yes, I know that no one thinks this will happen but it is possible mathematically. If it did how many of our current squad could cope in the top flight?

This. I'd happily take a payday n get somebody more solid at the minute. The latter half of that statement doesn't really tie with 'the model' though.I rate Dan Neil and he’s a decent prospect but he’d need to up his game massively not to look out of his depth in the premier league. Hopefully he’ll get there with us one day and look like he belongs but if we somehow managed it this season I’d hope we’d be in a position to drop him in and out of the side and not expect him to be a regular.
Nah. We only need to win one game. After that, we only need to win one game, then we only need to win one game, before finally having to only win one game. Piece of p*ss!We need to complete a seven game winning streak to get there, then win three more games to get promoted (ok maybe draw win win)
Not sure the last time we won ten games in a row - maybe over 100 year ago??![]()
We bloody wouldn't mindWe would have £150 million to buy players if we did go up via the play offs.
Well we'd get near enough £150 million from promotion via the play offs, whether they'd spend it on players is another thing. We bloody wouldn't mind
How negative are you man have you ever got anything good to say ?What is the earliest a team has been relegated in a Premiership season?
You stay up you desurve it
My question was not how we would fare but which of our players could cope/perform at that level.I personally think with the current set up we'd be going up far too soon and we would be slaughtered.

That's the spiritI personally think with the current set up we'd be going up far too soon and we would be slaughtered.
Who will be very possibly be picked off by Premier League teams if we don't go up.Okay fair enough, sorry. I think our team personally will improve as it matures and ages, with a lot of promising young players.
That's the spirit
I know mate....just think we have. Been handed a massive opportunity in a relatively weak Championship, which will be stronger next season, and we have tried our best to pass it up by not having a striker but we are still there and knocking on the door.I'm not pessimistic if you ask me, I've actually been very content with this season even when some people were seething at Mowbray.
I think it's been a good first season back, but I'm a bit nervous as I've seen what often happens to teams who win the Championship playoffs in the Premier League.
Saying that I expect us to fight for promotion next season.
ReallyWe would have £150 million to buy players if we did go up via the play offs.
