Coutinho?

Very little previous experience and a similar age to Duncan and he looks a real talent in the PL.

this, a lot of Inter fans rate Duncan over Coutinho. I have even seen the phrase 'like Muntari except good'. I also understand he is highly rated by the Ghanaians as well

It might take a while for him to adapt but he seems to have the skill set necessary to succeed.

28 minutes of football for their first team, give over man.

then what good is a season long loan?.

is the general consensus that if we get him he will be first choice then?.

Ba looks like a DM with plenty of future promise. We don't need another one, especially one costing £7m or thereabouts. For that sort of money we need players that are going to be ready to slot straight into the first team with plenty of experience in a decent league not 20 odd minutes in Serie A.

This is more of a deep lying playmaker
If we're going with 4-4-2, with Sess, Giacc, and AJ all in the starting 11, we need the 2 central midfielders to be able to put a tackle in but also be composed on the ball and be able to create

As I said in another thread, I'd prefer the St Ethienne lad, but I'll be happy with Duncan either way

Plenty of future promise, yes - but atm he still needs to improve a bit
But, like Karlsson, Baby Ba should become a good player

I am actually inclined to agree with you on this however there are recent examples of good young players from top teams that have come to us with minimal first team experience that have done very well. Evans and Welbeck.

Is there even a debate to be had here? Angeloni knows him personally and has seen him at the closest of quarters. What could any of us add?
