Idea for SOL improvement

Personally, I think the matchday experience at the SOL can only be improved IF the club install a scoreboard like we had at Roker Park. Not only did you need to be semi educated in order to understand the relationship between the games and the scores but by the time you had deciphered it, the second half would be ready to kick off.

Would be nice to clean the place up a bit and get a new sound system.

No wonder soton have announced these upgrades now, they've put about 200 million in the bank this summer.

We can’t even paint it and get rid of the weeds no chance of out else happening!
What weeds?
They should remove the plugs from the sinks in the toilets. It's a plug on a stick which inevitably falls in. Then the sink gets fuller and fuller until someone is brave enough to plunge their hand into the gloopy germy mess and pull the plug out. Nobody needs to be washing with a plug in the sink, so it would be better if they were removed.
And the water is like lava.

They used to announce half time scores, then leaving would give full time scores, biggest cheers was the mags getting beat. Its ever so drab these days

I was looking at clubs who have improved their stadium infrastructure. Anybody think this would be something to replicate? Don't see why not with Premier League money, should we get promoted

Article dated 30/07/2021. Proposals sounded great. Southampton relegated by May 2023. Assuming the proposed spending and improvements went ahead, I wonder if many Saints fans wished they'd spent money earmarked for these projects on better recruitment instead?

£2.5m gets you a moderate to decent second division player. Not including wages.

I don’t think them making some minor improvements to their ground was particularly a key factor in them going down.

1. Hire a little old fella with a falcon to remove the flying rats
2. Clean the toilets
3. Fix the speakers
4. Artwork around the ground

I’ve not been to a home game in a fair while for living abroad but I could likely hit the nail on the head when it comes to what the stadium needs given the constant moans on here about the same things blighting it for the last 10 years.
