Oh dear. Haven't got high hopes for this.

From IMDB:

A young British Asian, Mo is a fast-rising police officer who goes under cover infiltrating Shadwell's resurgent hooligan element, who are fired up by Shadwells's takeover by a Russian oligarch and their unlikely adventure into European competition. Mo quickly becomes embroiled in the local schism between the BNP and EDL and plans to build a new mosque in the shadow of the Shadwell ground creates an explosive environment in which football and political violence form a perfect storm of social unrest. In the midst of this, Mo is faced with the essential existential question of of who he really is and where he really belongs. It's 20 years on and clever Trevor is now chief super, but what happens to the rest of the gang?

My fears have been confirmed :)

Was an interesting story and current film at the time. The stuff that they have ran out since football factory glorifying this type of stuff is nothing more than embarrassing.

ID Is definitely one of those films that shouldn't be watched again.

Good when it first came out, but it has aged horribly. And thank fuck things have moved on so much since.

Just finished watching it, obviously not as good as the original but i still thought it was decent, worth a watch

Loved it at the time, haven't seen it since. Can't imagine this is much cop like.

"We are Shadwell, the kennel is our place..."

watched it tonight - got everything you want - sex , violence , boozing , football , drugs and politics in a tidy 90 minute package - recommended
