Not sure of your point. I wouldn't be happy if we sold him to anybody. I'd rather it was 20 million of China's money than 6 million of West Ham's tax payers money tho.

My point was you'd care if it was China bidding for our best players. Maybe not I dinar, I just presumed.

How good are the locals at playing? Will it be like having Rooney in your local Sunday league team?

Big underachievers, given their population and attempts to get things going as far as football is concerned. Bottom of their world cup group, have struggled in the Asian Cup since 2004 also. One of the problems they have is that, due to the money at home, their players don't go overseas.

Depends on what sort of fee we'd get in return, surely? As it stands, the players moving to China are still primarily South American, African and Asian/Aussie. Of the Europeans in the current squads, Axel Witsel is the first biggish name to move there at his peak rather than in his 30s (as Graziano Pelle and Burak Yilmaz now are).

Pelle was still playing well for Southampton. While I 100% agree it depends on the fee, a bid from China is enough to unsettle a player even if it's rejected. They might want to go even if the club doesn't for the obvious reason of earning fortunes.

I went to watch Beijing Goan in 2012, the standard was atrocious back then, I'd imagine it's improved massively since then mind.

42,000 were at that game and China would be a canny enough place to live especially if you're loaded.
