I'll see you that lot and raise you a Watford away in 1982:cry:

Luton away, when Milton Nunez came on in the 2nd half
Coventry home, when Benno knacked David Speedie
Oxford away, which was something like the 1st televised midweek evening match, or summat. Shitty 0-0 on a freezing or soaking (can't remember which) night anyway
Watford away, when there was a 'Follow the Meringue' parade through Watford town centre

It was at Roker aye.
They became the first visiting team if memory serves to win 4 times in a row at Roker.

Dark dark days them marra - my memory ain't too clever but unfortunately I would have witnessed all of them.

I was at Southend to see Riera, and to see stead score.

I was at Goodison for the 7-1 defeat, though I did get to see Mr Testicles that day.

Luton on the last day of Keanes first season was canny aswell.

Incredible how many have picked defeats. :)

Play-off semi @ the landfill.

Me 1st match under the Roker floodlights - 6-2 v Sheff. Utd
Wilf Rostron hat-trick

Arsenal 2-0
Two completely different but magificent goals from Arnott and Hawley.

Liverpool 0 Sunderland 1 Saturday, 2 May 1981

Stanley Cummins :)

I was 13 and in the seats with my dad and his mates. Great and memorable day all round that one.

I was at the play off at the Sports Direct Arena in 1990 and also the Chelsea game in the 92 cup run; couldn't sleep that night the adrenalin was still pumping

Was there when Dickie Ord scored his screamer
Was there when Poom scored
Was there when Proctor scored his hat trick, of own goals
Was there the day Brady became the fans favourite instead of Marco
Was there when we played the national anthem over the roker park tannoy - my god it sounded terrible (Torpedo Moscow?)
Was there for the last league game at Roker
Was there for the last game at Roker

Wasn't there when John Kay would have got his first ever goal, as we left 2 mins early.

Some good memories, there :)

to save the types of wacky and jake; surely Cheer up Peter Reid was sung by the mags first? I'm sure I read somewhere that they penned most of the Beatle's hits - not Lennon and McCartney

You jammy get. As a lad the same age it was f***ing murder in the Anfield Road End...Good match mind

Don't know why but we went in the seats all the away games we went to.
I was the youngest by about 30 year like, it was great :)

35,000 of them sang it at Roker v Gillingham. Of course it as cheer up Bob Stokoe at the time

My sister told me we had won 8-0 and I believed her:lol:

It was actually the last game my Dad went to. He just packed in after that. I suppose he'd served his time by then.
