I like Phil Bardsley

Booing is not the answer. For those of you that do you are putting your own interests ahead of the clubs. You are acting towards Bardsley in the same manner as he did towards PDC but apparently that's allowed because you don't like him because he bad mouthed the club. He shouldn't have done it but come on boys move on. Everything that happened during the PDC era should be wiped from the records. When Bardsley made his mistake he was frustrated at PDC not SAFC. He always gives 100% and at least he was out celebrating us staying up, which shows he has some passion for the club. To err is human. To forgive divine.

Go on Florida lad.

If you think about this logically, all this stemmed from him celebrating our survival in premier league! He must giv sum form of shit about us as a club even if it is merely for financial gain. The photo was stupid in casino the photo on Instagram was worse.
But every time he gets on the pitch shit or not he gives his all. He is our best right back by a mile. And although I'm no fan of him, there will be no bios from me,ultimately he wears a red n white shirt. If he cums back nxt season in a different 1 il gladly stand there n boo like fuck. But do u really think he will give a shit?
Hes hear for Anutha 6mnth so get behind the little bell end n boo him wen he's on his way

:lol::lol::lol:

we don't like him therefore he can't have played well and been heavily involved in beating the Mags, he just cant have been, I'm going to hold my breath until you admit he was not very good, I will.

 He had a bang average game. And he isnt that good. He was hardly heavily involved as well.

I keep hearing how badly PDC treated him but am a bit confused....He got bollocked for the casino incident then frozen out for being shite.......Cattermole got frozen out and isnt shite.....IMHO Cattermole had far more reason to feel bitter towards PDC but despite being thick as mince didnt resort to pathetic digs at the fans who pay is obscene wages on a social networking site.....Its called being professional, Bardsley is not, I booed the twat when he went off, I also laughed my tits off at him when he ended up 3ft away from us in the North Stand......Remember that some of the people paying for tickets to fund that tossers £34k a week are on minimum wage, what he did was unforgivable and the sooner he leaves the better.

I still dislike him, despite playing in a famous win over our rivals. I won't forget his past, why should I? I won't boo him while he's playing, but that doesn't mean I'm going to kiss his arse and forget all the shit he has done.

The bloke is a grade A c*nt and how any of you can 'like' him is beyond me.

It shows how f***ing fickle you are.

No matter what performances he puts in, I won't ever forgive him. He has 1 acceptable game!

I expect to see the usual dross being severed up in the next few games.

If people think that was a 'great' performance then they have no right to ever complain about Sunderland being mediocre again.

I really don't care too much about the ''incidents''. If it was a good player, say Fletcher, who had done it I would welcome him back with open arms. I just don't want him in the team because he's a below average Premier League footballer and I feel he's keeping a better player in Celustka out of the team.

That said, there's no doubt he holds a lot of sway in the dressing room (Johnson said in an article they were all pushing for Bardsley to be given another chance when Poyet arrived) so expect to see a lot more of him in the team as Poyet needs everyone onside if we're to pull off survival.

The Instagram thing was terrible, but he did offer a full and frank apology and there were mitigating circumstances.

I don't mind him. A limited player and a bit of a moron, but he's been a decent enough servant on the pitch over the years. The rewriting of history regarding Bardsley ever since Di Canio scapegoated him is little short of ludicrous.

Bardsley is a lot better than you and many others give him credit for.

He's a **** and a poor player. Don't see how any Sunderland fan can 'like' him after he took the piss out of the club.
This and by him being anywhere near the first team squad is a massive ✌️ to safc supporters.

The sooner he is no longer at the club the better. Oh and he is an incredibly average player.

I must've missed that then.
