I like Phil Bardsley

I don't like him, i didn't boo him but I certainly didn't clap. He's got to go a hell of a long way before I even consider to mildly like him again and to be honest I don't think he's good enough to shut me up. While he's still here I'll silently hope he plays well and hope he's gone in jan or at the latest the summer...

Not his biggest fan but the fans who booed him as he left the pitch having put in a decent shift should hang their heads in shame.

I booed the ****.

I will boo him every time he plays for the club. I don't give a fook what any twat on here thinks about it.

He's a **** and a poor player. Don't see how any Sunderland fan can 'like' him after he took the piss out of the club.

You and many others need to grow the fuck up, why are you so sensitive?[DOUBLEPOST=1382977476][/DOUBLEPOST]
He is a solid player and a better player than most give him credit for. Imo he is going to play a big role in keeping us up with his experience and ability to play lb and rb.

Thought the boos yesterday when he came off were not deserved, not after the shift and passion he put into yesterdays game. Those who did boo you are not helping the team in any way what so ever.

He's the best right back at the club, simple.

Luckily Poyet agrees.

Why are you happy to pissed on by that **** ?(metaphorically speaking)

How is he 'pissing on me'

I don't get the big deal like, some Sunderland fans are far too sensitive, he is the best right back we have got. Some passing comment on social media doesn't change that.

I like him. He'd been made an example of and felt put upon and unvalued. He shouldn't have done what he did, but anyone would feel the same if they were treated like that.

He shouldn't have been in a casino at god knows what time am anyway mind!

I don't understand how anyone can "like" him and support Sunderland?

Lets just look at him without discussing his ability (or lack of) as it's all about opinions but it's clear that it's very much up for debate - we're always arguing about him on here

He was out, pissed, in a casino during a time when we weren't safe and he should be keeping himself as fit as he can be and resting to recover during an important part of the season.

He is then punished, and perhaps made an example of, by being told he wouldn't be playing for the first team

He then chooses to laugh at the team for losing the opening day of the season.

What exactly is there to like??

Should never have played for us again after the comments on social media and I still believes he shouldn't be playing. Taking the piss out of the fans and the club and showing that no matter how much he pumps his fist and shouts, he couldn't give a shit about the club.
So many inacurasies to even bother about in this post.

true enough, a lot of people use any excuse to get on the players back. I can see why people may be upset by this, but it's in the past now and we need to get behind our players,

What's inaccurate about it?

I know for a fact he was pissed. And we weren't mathematically safe iirc? I'm happy to be corrected on that mind, but he was pissed when he had training the next morning and it was after the team curfew anyway!

It was the night we were confirmed safe iirc. Don't see the problem with it myself, if he turned in pissed the next day Di Canio should have just beasted him on the training pitch and made him suffer to teach him a lesson, extra laps or whatever. The tattoo before a game is a far worse offence in my eyes.

why? he is a grade a wanker and a shite footballer. i will continue to boo him every game he plays for us until he finally leaves this season

Top fan you, cheers for your support.[DOUBLEPOST=1382980410][/DOUBLEPOST]

The whole team went out for a meal to celebrate Wigan losing and us being safe.

Di Canio singled him out, but I wouldn't listen to a word that looney said, he proved to be more unprofessional than Bardsley, but for different reasons/
