The Beautiful Game

The same people telling us Coleman could have gone anywhere and chose us are the same ones saying no one decent would come hereYou've got a fair few likes, so many do agree with you, but a lot there I disagree with:
Why could he have gone anywhere? His last task was not even getting top seeds Wales into a top 2 and playoff position with a group containing Serbia, Ireland and Austria, so his stock is much lower than when he picked a side that beat Belgium 2 years ago.
Zero to spend, maybe, but I don;t see Phil Parkinson breaking the bank balance at newly promoted Bolton, a team we have to catch and are 6 points clear of us (they were 1 point clear of us when Coleman came in).
Players actually responding? Literally 20 games too late. What about the 10 games prior to those 4 or 5 games? I'll write those out for you:
Birmingham A - L
Ipswich H - L
Bristol A - D
Brentford H - L
Bolton A - L
Boro H - D
Millwall A - D
Villa H - L
QPR A - L
Preston H - L
Pretty much all shite, no wins, and 3 (three) points from a possible 30. Had we got say 4 or 5 more points there, which would still have been a very poor return, we might just have got out of this and it was largely the same players as now, yet he got a pass, because these players that are suddenly magically playing better, were deemed 'not good enough' by his backers on here.
I think I'd rather have someone with the experience of League One next season rather than this 'motivator' with a modest at best club managerial record. He's been a disaster and if we are all honest, far worse than anyone was expecting.

He's been here over 5 months now and has had more than half a season, yet we are in a much worse position in the league than when he came in. I hope he leaves.
