there's some f***ing strange people on this board . This is the poll result as of now and you can see than nearly '8 out of 10 cats' fans want rid of Bruce! (see what I did there?)

bite on this yer bassas
Code:
Bruce In 49 10.63%
Bruce Out 364 78.96%
Not sure 48 10.41%

Seeing as 78.96% want him out then how the fuck else do you think he's ever gonna be 'out'? Is it just the 10% of 'in' supporters posting in this thread? A defeat today can be absorbed and doesn't mean relegation but if he did get sacked because of it then it gives whoever a new manager may be, plenty of time to turn it around rather than wait til the New Year

all this crap now about any fan not wanting SAFC to win isn't a fan and is a mag is bullshit. It's someone with the balls to stand up to the stick and take a defeat in the hope it's the end of Bruce to end the misery of 2011. After Bruce has gone then nothing but a win is acceptable. That poll result clearly shows that the majority have lost faith in him due to his poor management skills yet he's still our manager. There are a few happy clappers defending him who still think he will turn it around but I guess they don't see what happens on the pitch over 90 minutes in recent games.

the Stoke game was like a violent boyfriend buying his lass some flowers once in a while but keeps beating her up most other times. She keeps going back to him because he says he loves her once in a blue moon.

feel free to f***ing free to slate me but after watching Monday (and the months previous), if we lost tomorrow and it meant that Bruce was out and hopefully a new manager in then I'd take it. This is rather than run the risk of Bruce taking us down, Ellis Short selling up and then SAFC going back 5 years.

do you honestly think I'd want SAFC to lose every game? Simply take one more f***ing hit and possibly it might be over with and we can say thanks Bruce for the few good memories but you simply weren't good enough. It's a very small sacrifice but for the better over time. Even if we draw then it will possibly go on and on without any idea of whether it will stop or not but it's not looking good. It could then be too late to stop the rot even if we gave him til Christmas like some are suggesting.

in the last 30 years of top flight football, historically SAFC are shite from December/January onwards so if Bruce continues as he is then can you really see him saving the season in the January window with some brilliant signings? Even a new manager would struggle, especially if we give Bruce another transfer window.

on a side note, I hope this is bookmarked and you come back and slate me when we finish 6th this season and win the FA Cup

p.s. I'd accept a 1-0 defeat but not twonked

............ and remember to take your ritalin aswell you tool.

so are you a Bruce In or is it just blind faith that you won't accept a defeat may be better for SAFC overall on the long term?

you've been quiet since the Norwich game, were you happy with the performance?

What f***ing planet are you from? When EVER can a defeat for our club be better for us? Take a f***ing pill man.

...still not sure. Our record of appointing managers is not great, so whats to suggest that we'll appoint a replacement for Bruce who can actually do the job we require?

I have no idea who I'd replace Bruce with - Hughes seems the only one who I would be comfortable with right now. Certainly would not want O'Neill, but overall I wouldn't know who to replace him with.

Tough call for the Club.

will we be relegated at 5pm today if we get beat? would you be happy with a win but possibly then LLDL in our next 4 games leaving us with 9 points from 11 games? What if we only draw today as that could possibly mean 7 points from 11 games!

then we'd be back to where we are today probably with quite a few more Bruce out in attendance with a home game against Fulham. A team that we should be twonking but under more pressure and with 4 less games. Including the Fulham game then the next 4 games should be at least 10 points (WWDW) but what if Bruce doesn't get 10 and fucks that up?

problem is, that very few fans have faith in him now and if given the choice to chop off their little finger to save their life then deep down they know it's for the best. Losing 1 game today is not the end of the world if it meant Bruce was finally out. I just hope I'm wrong and he can turn it around seeing as I'm an optimist pessimist :-D

I cant stand to see us lose, it always does my head in.

There will never be a day where I would want to see us lose.

The manager situation will work itself out, and if we do win then Bruce deserves the same amount of praise as he gets abuse for when things are shit. If he can turn it around then it will mean wins which will put smiles on our faces and is just about all we ask for.

I agree with you mate. Ive been a season ticket holder since a bairn at Roker and love my club dearly but if a defeat today meant the end for Bruce (and surely it would) then id be more than happy to settle for a 'twonking' right now.

Bruces time is up and we all know this will end in tears eventually - would love it if he was on his way at 5.30 tonight

if it was a thread with the title "would you accept defeat if it meant Bruce was sacked?" then I'd dare say a few more would admit it's for the better although their heart will still say nothing less than a win for me
