I hope Moyes stays

Surely any prospective managers will understand we have been ultra patient with moyes and realise any other club would have sacked him months ago.

We aren't a club that sacks managers on a whim or doesn't give them time.
The trouble is it isn't an attractive job, not enough of a budget to sort the team out, we said the same after Poyet and Advocaat and Di Canio, we've never really had stability. Managers chop and change their systems and we go from 1 to the other when we don't have a clue to start with. I hope next season is the start of a turn around and we come straight back up but I know it's not that easy, I see us struggling half way up the table.

I also think Moyes should stay. Its the cancerous attitude of the likes of Kone that has utterly destroyed this season and the sooner we get rid of the likes of him the better. With hindsight, we should have told him to fuck off to Everton last August, as his stock has now dropped and without him we'd be no lower in the league than we are now.

Once Moyes is working with players who actually want to be here and have a degree of self-respect and pride in their job, then he can get to work forming a coherent team with a team spirit. I'm sick of this hiring & firing shit. I'm sick of celebrating 17th place with 8 wins all season. I'm sick of mercenaries bleeding the club dry for minimal, bordering on zero effort.

Nobody can offer a reasonable argument to keep Moyes because there isn't one.

How and why people are still coming out with the most tedious and ridiculous excuses for his complete ineptitude is frankly embarrassing.

He hasn't shown that he has single idea in his thick head that he can still effectively manage a football club. He's finished.

For fuck sake this useless arsehole has been nothing but a parasite and a leech on the club, taking £50K a week to get hammered off Burnley,, Swansea, Stoke at home and gifting a truely woeful Boro side 6 points. That's just some of his low lights of his 22 defeats from 33 games.

The horrible bastard deserves kicking in the nuts off every single one of our home crowd for the abject misery he's put us through this season before being booted up the arse all the way back to Scotland.

Fuck off Moyes, you've relegated us without a whimper of fight. You're a twat of a failure.

Probably a bit of a lone voice here but I will be very disappointed if they sack Moyes at the end of the season. Bringing in someone else now will just promote all the uncertainty that a new manager brings - time to settle in time to assess what is needed , who is needed and who is not, time to find new targets etc etc.
Yes DM has not done a good job, but then it was never going to be easy for whoever came in. The clock is ticking for him, but now he has from now to organise everything so that we hit the ground running in the championship. I would think the time for him to get the bullet would be mid - December if we are not shaping up and at least in the top 10.

tin hat on and dog's abuse expected

Fair play for the post however you are seriously in the minority.

However wanting this man as a manager of the club you love is crazy, he has destroyed everything we had built up within 11 months, he oozes negativity and is totally clueless, each to there own I suppose but I really don't know how you can still back him

Last paragraph sums him up . Totally agree . Mind you be canny if we can arrange this nut kicking for the Swansea game.

One of his strong past attributes has been developing young players.

With most senior players leaving, for that reason, I'd go with it until Xmas see how it goes. What is the alternative? New manager again, who might not give the younguns a chance, who doesn't know them

Kone, losing his partner, and injuries. In particular, if big vic didn't get injured, Wed be safe by now.

I'd like to see how he gets on with a level playing field for a few months.

It's pretty obvious and completely inevitable that he need to be given the bullet come October next season.

Sticking with him is just a waste of everyone's time.

I've posted in the past that what I'd like to see next season is more of the youngsters given a chance early on and see which ones make the grade.

Few old heads and astute signings and we "could" do alright.

But my problem is I cant see Moyes being the man to do the above.

How on earth will he get the players motivated?

The fans wont give a fuck if we start well and win games

Sorry like but if Moyes puts his eggs into the basket of a chronically injury prone player, it doesn't get to be used as an excuse.
It doesn't I know, I was just giving one individual / factor. If we got in a replacement in January, another factor...

I really doubt this; hit the ground running and the fans will go with it.

I agree giving the kids a chance and I would limit the players coming in. But I still want Moyes out and a good coach who can motivate the kids.

Who do you recommend that can do that and continue it should we go up?

Moyes attitude has equally been cancerous. He is utterly useless this season of making a team. He has managed like a dinosaur and has massively under performed no matter the circumstances. He looks like he puts no effort in and is being paid handsomely to fail. There has not been one redeeming thing about him this season, i cannot for the like of me work out why people think he should be given more time. He has been a disaster
