I could see that as well, the manner of our losses so far has to have Short on red alert to scrap him.Lose against West Ham and he's gone imo
If we haven't got a win by the mags at home expect him to be gone.

Spot on.Utter rubbish - we are where we are because we sack managers every 5 mins.
Rightly so and they are bloody well paid to do a job and should do it no questions.Agree but do it now, none of this next week stuff.
Tactically inept but the main thing is the players are not playing for him.
He's been publicly critical of players and you can't keep doing that and then expect them to play for you.
He's gone in May regardlessApologies if that's the case but it doesn't come across that way. We can't keep sacking managers.
Break the bank for Pullis..... should have got the job when PDC got the bullet.
Spot on.

If we do them so be it. We need to rebuild and dick won't be here do that
If it was a manager we had appointed on a 3 year deal I wouldn't have started this thread
Disagree. What do we gain by keeping him? He doesn't have a plan, he won't see us through 2/3 years. We whinge that we're in this mess because the owner is trigger happy. When in reality it's us.

But we need to plan for 2/3 years it's a problem. Sacking a manager isn't really a problem when he's only here for another 31 games. If he had a 3 year contract I wouldn't contemplate sacking him.No manager sees us through 2/3 years.
I agree that his tactics leave our full backs without any cover.
However we're 7 games into a season. The same position as the last few seasons. Personally I want to give him time.
Find it very hypocritical slating the owner for being trigger happy and blaming that on our current position and then calling for the mangers head when things get tough.

Agree. If we were going to see it through then maybe it should have been Poyet. At least he would have gave us continuity and been there in the championshipI can see your point mate. I'm just sick of sacking people and starting again. I want to give this bloke a chance to turn it around.
Plus I'm past caring about relegation. If you flirt with sumit for so long you'll inevitably end up f***ing it.

That was Wednesday. I would now yes, it's not getting better and he is gone in May anyway. So you claim today. You didn't want him sacked at all on Wednesday.

This. We could leave things as they are and get relegated in May. Dick leaves, we appoint a new manager, who has to familiarise himself with the players and build a squad from scratch for the championship it's a recipe for disaster. But we need to plan for 2/3 years it's a problem. Same mate. It's grim up north as they sayAye possibly. Think the inevitable is coming mate

The club is an absolute shambles from top to bottom. Having a bloke in charge who is gone in May regardless helps nobody. We may as well have stuck with Poyet and rebuilt if we went down.
