I hate sacking manager...but I would peddle him

You might have been chuffed when he came back, but you can't deny that subsequently, since the start of the season you have consistently had a go at him. You may prove to be right, but your negativity towards him has been incessant
Possibly but I've just called what I seen. It was obvious the tactics at Leicester was ridiculous and it's got no better. Genuinely think the squad is a lot better than its showed so far.

Not sure how long we can go through the motions like this. I actually like Advocaat as a bloke and if he did go I would wish him well. Just don't like what I have seen this season. Like I said, if he had a 3 year deal he would get lots more time from me, possibly even if we went down so be it, rebuild. But he isn't going to be around for that.

The club needs to get its house in order at some point and that doesn't include Advocaat.

We have to consider who the replacement might be, as always. Who's available and honest thinking about how attractive a proposition we really are brings a sobering conclusion.

To be honest though Janey Advocaat's set up if the team has been abysmal from the first minute and it's getting no better. Admittedly there's some nice football in there but you can't concede three goals a game and enjoy the glimpses of promise. It's about setting up the team to win- and we're losing heavily week in week out. So how anyone can stick up for him I fail to understand. I admit the OP lost patience quicker than me but I'm right there with him now.

West Ham is a horrible game next week. They set up how we hate. Pace on the break, power and pace up front.

As a manager he's had a terrible season though, absolutely appalling. Nothing to do with players or DOF, owner or anything else. The OP has a point IMO.

It's not like I have form for turning either. I was one of the last on here to be behind Poyet.

Nobody can deny we are shite and the board has major issues and our recruitment is awful.

But, on the pitch the squad is better than 2 points and not in the worst 3 squads in the league. Since pre season it's been a disaster

Exactly, what manager worth having would choose to have his reputation ruined here.

I don't necessarily disagree with you, on many points, particularly that I think the squad is probably a lot better than has been shown, it's just you seem to get hung up on an issue and can't let go. Your blood pressure must be through the roof

Nah, honestly I'm genuinely calm about it. I just get frustrated and more head in hands

The amount of times this season I've raised the sides of my mouth and just shook my head must be triple figures.

I don't disagree with you, and I'm not sticking up for him, I said from the Norwich game I didn't think we were that bad, we aren't great, but not that bad. I think the op did go for his throat too quickly, I've said to him I'm now worried about his blood pressure if he keeps it up, in a nice way.

Join the club, I was grateful to be going out at half time today.

Completely agree but dicks gone regardless in the summer. Awful situation
In hindsight appointing dick has badly backfired on us. He is struggling badly to come up with a system which suits the players available and is stubbornly sticking with it even though it is failing badly. He keeps picking players who consistently underperform, van anholt particularly, who is one of the poorest full backs we've ever had. If he stays till the end of the season and we are relegated (looking very likely) we will then be appointing a manager with little time to prepare for a championship season. For that reason would it not be better to replace him sooner than later to give the new man a chance to establish himself in the position and if we go down then we will hopefully hit the ground running in the championship.
