We are going to have to win around 16 of our remaining 20 games to do that. Its a big ask
Why? The way things are going, if we did that we'd win the league by about 10 points.

We will go up this season without a Wembley appearance. Book mark this if you so wish.
Agree with both pointsEveryone are as shite as each other in this shit league marra. I must say though, we played some excellent stuff today.

Do you deliberately post absolute shite to try and get a reaction ?I admit that ranks as one of the best SAFC performances I have ever seen, probably in our history, and you have to wonder on the back of a performance like that how much better we can get and whether or not we are close to reaching our peak because we know what the average performance is like so to go from one of them to one like we saw yesterday is a massive leap. One of the biggest leaps in performance we have ever seen. One of the biggest at any club. You can't not think "is this the best we can get?"
With that said it is only Magnificent Performance #1. To convince me we are close to becoming material that is possible to get promotion out of one of the toughest leagues I have know we have to put in performances like that week in week out. Every week has to be a 3-1 or 4-0 against everyone. We simply cannot lose another game this season. Draws are good if other results go in our favour. If we can do that then calling Sunderland AFC a team capable of getting promotion isn't such a ridiculous idea. We give ourselves a fair chance of somehow doing the impossible and get promotion.
Just 16? Gonna have to be more around 18 or 19.
Whoever finishes above Oxford/Rotherham will have a good chance of automatics.
Next 3 games are all winnable, before a tuff set of fixtures in February. Think we’ll know whether it’s the play-offs or a good chance of automatic promotion by end of Feb imo
What a difference not just lumping the ball aimlessly forward every time makes.
Attack, quick passing, with a touch of shithousery.
Just shows what we can do, so why haven't we done it more often.

This is one of the worst posts I have ever read on here. Ah so yes you do then. I thought that's what you did cause no one can be so wrong all the time unless its deliberate.No. It's the truth as I see it. That was one of the best performances I have ever seen and if you had the balls to admit it, you have ever seen. For the first time in years I have something to be positive about now. For the first time in years I went home happy. A performance from a Sunderland side like that does raise questions. How could we go from performing like we are the worst side in the world one week to performing like that the next? How much of a massive leap was that we saw? Pretty huge if you ask me. We are just so unaccustomed to seeing us actually playing well and like we are actually going somewhere to see one like that, well, given who we are and what we are, how much better is it possible for us to get is all I am asking.

one of the best performances in our history Hahahahahahahaha my god

If that happens, then I'll say I was wrong about Parkinson. Not after a couple of games and moving up to 6th. Play like we did yesterday, then we give ourselves a good chance, but long way to go. Still think it will be play offs again for us.
Why would I ? I've never made a vile comment on these boards and dont intend to start doing so under your instruction.Wan't it? We were good for not just 1 minute like per the norm but for the whole 90 minutes. We absolutely put them to the sword. We were all over them I thought. Fantastic passing and terrific chances throughout.
I have often been derided for making negative comments. Now I am finally am making positive comments because I actually have something to be positive about I get the same.
What is that meant to mean?
Agreed. We look every inch the team who people can say is a team capable of going up.
Go on @Slow joe. Say something vile about that positive comment.
