Hydrating at work

I can see why the company would be concerned about its employees posting stuff. You're doing a lot of it, makes me wonder where you work where emplyers want to see what it's employees post and sounds like the staff are just walking all over the place with drinks

In our school the salt cellar went straight in that as soon as the first person sat down.

That was until Big Bob arrived and hoyed some Andrews Liver Salts in too.

Water……… it was more dangerous than drinking water from Chernobyl

My dad will have drank from the same taps, I remember asking him not too long ago how many of the kids on a school photo of his he has were still alive, he said all of them.

Bizarrely when mentioning it on here someone was seemingly calling him a liar, I think they thought it was like now where people move miles away and never see or hear of school mates again.

I’ll ask him again to see how many there are still with us if I remember, he’ll have been late 70’s at the time.

Could be risk to equipment from spills or to staff if there are other nasty liquids in containers lying around. We had this at a previous company I worked at so we gave all staff a company lidded transparent water bottle
At first they said it was to stop drinks being contaminated, so they brought in lidded cups. Now it seems they want to go one step beyond.
Yeah like he's going to be necking a beaker of hydrochloric acid by mistake.....
Funnily enough, someone pointed out i’d left an unmarked beaker of blue acid out and some idiot might think it was Powerade and drink it. In a chemistry lab, aye sounds plausible.

I’m not naming any names, so all anonymous.
They’ll stop you coming in here next.
They’ve banned phones, so yeah they already have

We’ve just been told that drinks are banned anywhere in the building except in the canteen. So the lads working machines all day now have to leave their station and go across the road for a sip of water, even in the middle of summer. Is this normal in factories?
See, if you worked from home like me you can do what you want, drinking cider and eating meat pies at 10am for example

The company clearly wants the staff to work half arsed by treating them like shite
