Which browser were you using?

I initially had Firefox but changing options took a few seconds for the animation to update. I thought I'd try Chrome as it's normally good with stuff like this but it struggled as the animation was actually stuttering. So I tried Microsoft Edge and it was fast as owt to update as it's almost instant and animation works spot on.

I found the best projection setting was E as you can see the whole earth flat (albeit distorted)

Look at the MODE-Chem and then Overlay-COsc to see the Wind + Carbon Monoxide Conc. @ Surface as North West Spain is covered!

It worked in Chrome for me.

Is that live?

If you are talking about that picture then I don't know. I just found out about the fires in Portugal and Spain that started at the weekend so this explains why it's like that but how recent I don't know.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-41634125

I see you can change the time in this link below. This is 1800 (dunno what times zone) on 15th October and you can see the Hurricane.

https://earth.nullschool.net/#2017/10/15/1800Z/wind/surface/level/orthographic=-13.83,46.97,1018

You can also see the particulates from yesterday that caused the strange coloured sky.

https://earth.nullschool.net/#2017/...verlay=duexttau/orthographic=-13.83,46.97,565

You can see the California fires here from the 10th October.

https://earth.nullschool.net/#2017/...raphic=-123.38,39.45,2466/loc=-110.659,38.731

And this one from 7th September is worse.

https://earth.nullschool.net/#2017/...hographic=-120.43,47.25,1666/loc=20.092,2.954

Last months Hurricane Irma on 10th September

https://earth.nullschool.net/#2017/...ographic=-76.35,26.42,1125/loc=-79.282,24.531

It's mad when you change the Height to 10 to show the winds at a height and low pressure and how they go opposite each other.

https://earth.nullschool.net/#current/wind/isobaric/10hPa/orthographic=-12.78,6.74,343

It did work for me in Chrome but CPU is higher and motion isn't as smooth, nor is it as instantaneous as MS Edge which has very little CPU/memory usage also. To be fair, it's probably because my Chrome has add-ons affecting performance whereas Edge doesn't.
