Oh no! Who is going to leave all the space down the left hand side now?

If they get the same level of cover as Hume did, then anyone that plays left wing back.

Hume has been poor in the first two games of the season but he’s really being thrown under the bus here like.

A young’ish kid without any real experience, being asked to play an unusual position in a strange formation (that nobody else seems to understand either) and given very little protection or cover from his centre halves or midfielders on that side.

flanagn has played left back a bi in recent years..

flanagn has plaued left back...he has played more league games at left back than hume has..the manager who had flanagna beore ross had him kept descrivibing him as a full back..and compaering him to the full back, both left and right side, options, they had at the club.

My understanding was that Flanagan was a CB or RB. He looks like a fish out of water playing left side.

Oviedo was a complete waste of money, bang average but on Premier league wages....Sorry like, save some ££ and get another average left back and we move forward.
Exactly this, if he was ripping the division up and plying well every week I would be a bit p.ssed off, but he was no better than bang average and On a hell of a lot of money, bring in a left back who is capable of playing league 1 on a league 1 wage

Sensible decision to take Hume out of the firing line (injured my arse).

Power and Leadbitter to play midfield so I suspect McGeouch’s ‘knock’ is trivial too.
No word on Willis?

he has played LB some times..by that I mean less than 20 times..

You wouldn't have thought it mind watching him this season. I'm 63 and an ex-winger and I'd still fancy my chances up against Flanagan

It may have been prudent to bring one in while you're shipping two out.....you know, in the unlikely event that your sole remaining LB gets injured

Yes he should of brought a extra lb in, but getting shot of Oviedo and his mass wage was 100 percent the correct thing to do, I want safc to survive and prosper in the future and we could not do that with players on x amount, when x equals far to much

The season has hardly started and we have a bag full of injuries already, despite barely a pre season sequence of games.
