not a chance, he either change formation to 4 at the back, and have flanagan left back

or

stick with his formation and put gooch left wing back and onein right wing back
My suggestion, although I didn't specify, was in respect of a flat back four. Anyone's guess as to what Ross will do as he's probably drawing straws in order to decide himself.

To be honest he'll probably try all of our suggestions during the course of the match.

Think that O'Nien will play rb and McLaughlin will be shoehorned into lb.
flanagn has played left back a bi in recent years..
It's the law of Sod

Sell two of your three options then cross your fingers that your remaining option doesn't get injured until you've sourced a replacement.
flanagn has plaued left back...he has played more league games at left back than hume has..the manager who had flanagna beore ross had him kept descrivibing him as a full back..and compaering him to the full back, both left and right side, options, they had at the club.

Hackett? Bainbridge?

Hackett potentially but not a natural there. Bainbridge a centre back. Jacob Young played there last year but he left for hoffenhiem. Hunter did first part of season but really struggled as he’s naturally a RB.

Probably be McLaughlin or Gooch thinking about it.

Sounds like just the incentive* for us to stay with three at the back. I can see Ross defending his formation on the back of this news.

*excuse.

Just play Mclaughlin LB and O'Nien RB, that would be what i would be playing on Saturday anyway.
