To me,Hume seems to want to cover inside to help O'Nien ..You are blaming O’Nein for the supposed drop in humes form?![]()
No, that’s the way Mowbray has told him to play for some mental reason. That’s why he’s drifting centrally, absolutely nothing to do with covering O’Nein. To me,Hume seems to want to cover inside to help O'Nien ..
He is bang out of form at the moment, some idiots blaming the manager for it, no excuse for him not tracking back now and again to help out or putting in tackles like he was earlier in the season.
For the third time, there is absolutely no excuse for failing to track back, he isn't playing a high central role when we are out of possession, his form has nosedived. You’re the only idiot here, if you can’t see he’s been asked to play a high central role in possession which is murdering him when we lose possession.
100% the managers doing…
Everyone has to cover 09 he’s a liability. You are blaming O’Nein for the supposed drop in humes form?![]()

O'Nien seems to drift anywhere along back 4 to help/cover leaving too much gap. No set plan from team tactics ,maybe that's why we are sometimes wide open from the L.H. side ?Surely that would be Huggins/Cirkins job this season seeing as Onion plays on the left of the CB's?

Again I wouldn't mind if this was solely the case and the lad was putting in 100% effort in every game, but you can see the reaction of some of the players to his attitude when we have conceded, it comes across as either lack of effort or that he is pissed off having to help the team out when he thinks that it is not his job. I rate the lad and when he is on it he has lifted the team with crunching tackles and putting his body on the line defending in and around the box, lately his form has taken an alarming dip, I can't just put that down to playing further forward. In slight mitigation he's been pushed a long way forward of late, particularly at home, as evidenced by him having a few cracks on goal, so he's a long way from his defensive position. When we lose the ball during an attack it's two passes and boom, the ball is in our net.
