Short didnt pick the players m8
No he dictated wages and money available though, people are off there f***ing rocker if they think all these shite players were managers first choices, they weren't due to what money we had and how much wages we could pay. If it wasn't for needing ten players a season for shorts normal outlay we wouldn't be in such a mess, it's mismanagement from top to bottom.

That's exactly my point for fucks sake man
Give it up man....you're starting to look a bit pathetic by changing your opinion so quickly. My point is we would never look great by landing him on a free in Jan when half a season has gone.

Your point was we would have.

As I said at the time. The club were going to look brilliant or idiots with the way we played it. We refused to pay the money. He pulled out

We looked like idiots
Did he or did the club want to and come to an agreement? The he didn't want to come doesn't wash with me especially if he ends up at Hull or Palace

This!
It's so so simple yet seems beyond the realms of possibility for so many on here.

Under Advocaat he was one of the best midfielders we've ever had.

Under Allardyce he was f***ing awful.

We got n'dong instead cos we didn't wanna pay the fee and wages so we paid double for n'dong
