Regardless, you could tell by watching him that he was a better class of midfielder than we've had in donkeys years.

You mentioned the 2nd and 3rd last games of the season. M'Villa had a prolonged and major dip in form. Perhaps it was to do with the Russian season kicking off earlier than leagues in Western Europe?

He's not coming. People need to get over it.

All changed their managers as well.

Even Boro have signed two new forwards. We are at the start of the death of the club. The sad thing is in five years we will look back at this time as the good times

Looked a bit tired, remember he didn't have a pre season, still our best midfielder last season

I agree his form dipped, but when was the last time a player in "bad form" had 3 memorably good games for us?

You could tell just by watching the tackles he'd win, his first touch and his non stop running that he was a better class of player.

M'vila would've been a complete coup for this club, one of the best footballers we've had here in recent years. Could ship a 5/10 performance and still be the best player in this f***ing team

Spot on.
Had a couple of good games but in main was pretty average.
Agreed. We might even have dodged a bullet as I could see him going off the boil and stealing a wage etc.

Besides as we now know we could never afford his demands anyway.

From Xmas onwards last year he was very ordinary, what folks rave about on here is beyond me..because he's a French international??
