i used to like hughton until recently
hes totally turned into " one of them "
they could all set fire to a badger and hughton would say they have never set fire to a badgerr before so didnt know the severity of this and the badger was dangerous anyway

how long will Wilson (or whatever his name is) get if his challenge fails? 6 games or just an extra one tacked onto the end?

The pressure has got to him, similar to Hodgson at Liverpool who has gone from being a likeable, decent bloke into an utter, utter wanker in the space of a few months.

A punch, headbutt and elbow. Yep, it's an FA conspiracy...

All (possibly) banned for violent conduct and not a tackle in sight.
Hughtons a joke ' it was a reaction to being pulled 5 minutes earlier' FFS!!!

Some other teams, no-one in the pundit box bats an eyelid. But, because it's Newcastle, it gets picked up on and publicised. Some people are out to get us, it's NOT PARANOIA BUT FACT

THERE IS A CONSPIRACY AGAINST NUFC!!!

:lol::lol:

I fully appreciate managers defending their players, but not after a punch, headbutt or an intentional elbow.

To be fair, in the article, Hughton says he can't defend what Coloccini did.

With regard to the joker in their comments talking about Cattermole, I'm pretty sure that there isn't an FA charge of "juggling on the goal line", hence Cattermole can't be charged retrospectively...

TBF he is able to speak in relative terms when you have messrs Barton and Carroll as senior members of his squad.

From the link....

“It was a silly action by Mike, but I think it was the frustration of some five minutes before that when Johan Elmander pulled him down,” Hughton said.
It’s there for everybody to see, he shouldn’t have got involved. But what it was, was a body check and no more than that."

Ffs, get yourself a ladrador Hughton.

Is that suitable for manly dog walking?

I think its certain players running the show up there playing wise and not Hughton, really cant see Hughton being one of these blokes hauling the likes of Barton in for a bollocking or any player in for disciplinary matters at all. He doesnt exactly ooze authority about him does he?

Glenn Roeder mark two imo or if we look closer to home Ricky Spragia

Sometimes four laughy smilies just isn't enough!

The charge is bad timing for the reliable defender, who the Chronicle understands is set to sign a new three-year deal to ward off interest from Spurs.
