Hughes Sacked

Makes you wonder how any manager can't get a team out of the players available.. Their squad looks solid even with players like Carillo (£20m), Boufal (£16m) and Clasie £8m) out on loan cos they can't / don't want to play for Soton. Even Gabbiadini has gone from dynamite to squib in no time. It's just the sort of squad for the likes of BSA to fire up the way Hughes and the likes of Moyes never could. There's some cracking players with no enthusiasm or system. Even Stuart Armstrong (£6m ex Celtic) looks better than the big money players. The right boss will get them safe.
Didn't even realise they'd got rid of Boufal.

Bet he’s buzzing. Pay off and probably back in the PL before the season ends

It's a merry go round / gravy train. He'll just wait for the next job to come along and hop on for another pay day. They're having a laugh man

Like Pepe Mel, Egil Olsen etc etc

Interesting quotes when Pochettino took over after Adams was sacked at Southampton

"Well I am shocked.....

"With due respect to Pochettino, what does he know about our game? What does he know about the Premier League?

"What does he know about the dressing room, does he speak English?

Mind they came from well know sage and guru - Lawrie McMenemy. :(:(:(:(:(

Well Lawrie Mac has won more than poch has in all fairness.

its weird how managers rarely seem to get better. They often start well early in their senior level management career, then steadily get worse via several jobs and eventually flushed out of the system. Maybe most of them are generally shite.
