Nah there's no ruling this season, it was just Betdaq trying to be socially responsible and dropping shirt sponsors. Which was canny as they announced it after the shirts had been produced.

Betdaq should have footed the bill for a new batch to be produced.

That was Betdaq doing it voluntarily. I can't remember if it was getting ahead of official regulation which comes in soon anyway, or if it was the industry trying to cut back as they've realised they're in danger of getting more regulation.

That is also why there's supposed to be fewer betting ads this season during live matches, because they were trying to preempt actual laws.

I think ours is obviously cursed. Time to ditch the colours completely and start afresh. I fancy a predominantly terracotta and gold combination in a similar style to the Fluminense 2004 shirt.
