How Rich Are We Now?

Short has to take the majority of the blame as the buck stops with him. The attendances home and away for the dross we have endured over the years is remarkable. Fans are fickle though everyone loved Short at the final, everyone loved Donald when he first took over and drank with the fans. Now both are vilified at every opportunity.

Everyone aside from the Duckeggs recognized that Short backed his managers .....

No richer than we were yesterday, We just have a richer majority shareholder. If he's got an ounce of sense, he won't put in a penny more than he needs to.
It’s going to be all about capital calls once we get promoted to & from the Championship

Although wealth is an issue there are other important components which are necessary to develope this club. Structure of both management and network of scouts, longevity of owners, development of both youngsters and senior players, not to mention the need to recruit players who believe that Sunderland is a team going places. Hopefully this takeover may be the start of something good.

I notice he mentioned owning our ground as being very important for his plans, saying it was a handicap that they didn’t at Marseille.

I wonder what his plans are in that area.
