My Mother in law was just like that, 75 years old, wouldn't eat foreign food
but we invited her too a twenty first birthday party, we were holding in a
Indian restaurant, she tried the Tikka and loved it, then she moved on to the Bombay potato, on and on she went! until she had tasted the lot, she loved most of what she had and said how much she regretted not trying it before.

The wok in Flamenca is quite nice, for a buffet restaurant, I must say. We'll be having several visits there next month.

I don't suppose that you'll have tried the new New York Diner style buffet in the Commercial Centre yet, with you not being so good at present, have you, mate? Think we'll just have to take the plunge and try it for ourselves.

It's so odd, isn't it? How can you not like what you haven't tried? (Uh, oh!! That sounds like a cue for Alexander, again.) ;)

Been to the Wok in Pilar, dont care for D.I.Y buffets prefer to be served(they are cheap though, some of them around €6) ,dont mind Chinese food, never been a lover of curry.
You right, not been out for a meal since my op, dont realy fancy it yet, seem to have gone off a lot of food, especially meat!!!!!!!!! dont mind mince though so having plenty of pasta, rice etc.

27, in fact I had both my first Indian Curry (Moti Raj ) and chinese all in the same year, I was scared to try stuff in thoses days, I will try owt now

had my first indian at about 20, i was shocked at the taste but sort of liked it, love it now.

First chinese at about 17, special fried rice and sweet and sour sauce. Thought it was well exotic.
We didn't have foreign muck in our house.
