I have around 20 cameras, lenses and cameras are xpensive (Most I’ve paid for a lens is about $1800).

My record collection costs me a couple hundred per month.

I also buy a coupl,e of kites every year a about $200 each.

No wonder I’m skint

Following on from the other “look at me” threads. Got me thinking what do I spend most of my money on.

Fishing is the answer.
At least £50 a week in bait and Comp fees.

The biggest single item being £3k fishing pole.
Rods for £500
Reels £200 ish
I may even have a count up later of stuff I have (they have their own house)

So may rainy day question is what’s your hobby and how much does it cost. I think a lot of people will get a shock when they start adding it up.

What is the difference between hobbies,interests and pastimes?

I would say a regular activity like snorting coke using £50 notes is a hobby but less frequent activities like throwing gold bars at homeless people and buying canada goose jackets are merely interests.

Cricket mainly, the kit (bats/pads etc) will be over £500/600 quid

Reckon I pay about 300 a season covering subs, match fees and gear (which I don't give much of a toss about!).

SAFC 1k a year maybes for ST, cup games and 8/9 aways.

My Roland v Drums were about a grand
Thinking of getting a Mercedes Marco Polo and a jetski

Rod has eyes and needs a reel. Pole is a pole with elastic on the end.

Occasionally west coast and normally a fishing holiday abroad each year.
