Canada goose jackets look the part but anything over £500 on a coat is insanity
Picked up an alpha parka in the USC sale about 15 years ago for £60 - looks about the same as a Canada goose and because my friends would assume I’m the sort of wanker that would buy one they think it is.
Still wearing my schott pea coat from about 20 years ago too.
Must admit to being a hoarder in the sales and have far too many in the wardrobe - flogged a pile of Barbour stuff on eBay for near enough what I paid at the factory shop
