How many times a day do you urinate?

If you think you have a urinary problem ,speak to a doctor ASAP .A good one will check out, then refer you to see specialist.Make sure you get an MRI done.In Teesside you can get a T3 MRI .( Average MRI machines are T2 ).Almost like a 3d version. This is the best one. If you have anything abnormal,it should pinpoint it straight away. Some specialists want you to have biopsy BEFORE you get MRI. Decline this ,unless you have MRI first .I have had mates who have had Prostrate cancer ,now all clear but still pee a lot.Once the prostrate has become enlarged it should stay like it.Get yourself checked .
I just wasn't born with one! 🤷‍♀️🤣
Mrs. Reindeer .Guess you don't have an Adam's Apple as well .

Coffee is a diuretic and the red thunder/cups of juice will likely contain calcium-forming shite. Get a pint of water down ya neck lad.

The thread on here years ago about kidney stones horrifies me everytime I think about it. Can't remember the poster now, but how he describes trying to force the stone down his urethra like an ice-pop

I read an article a while ago (shortly after my Father-In-Law died of cancer that began in his prostate) that said men should try to keep a check on cholesterol with regards to prostate health. During an appointment with my GP I asked if I could have mine checked and she told me (while chuckling) that there was no NHS screening for it unless you had some symptoms. Afterwards, I thought she thought I just wanted her to play with my back passage to brighten the day up a bit.

My weeing is worrying me a bit. It can be maybe 3 hours between needing a wee after having a dump/wee in the morning but after then if I go an hour without needing one I am doing well.

It comes on quite sudden too sometimes, especially when going from sitting to standing and coming back from the match is always a chore if I have a couple of pints cos it’s a couple of hours drive home and after about half hour I am pretty desperate to call at a garage. I’d need at least one stop in the way back and bursting again by the time I get home.

Had prostrate checked a few times and they say it’s fine and probably irritable bladder (to go with my irritable bowels so not sure it’s linked) but it plays on my mind a lot. I am 53.

Has anyone tried any treatments or medication for owt like this? :(

Prostate been fully checked out? I'd be asking for urine tests and bloods too

Yep had the finger up the rear a few times and had blood and urine tests. Dr said prostate felt OK and PSA, bloods and urine weren’t showing owt to cause concern so they said it was likely irritable/overactive bladder.

I am mindful of prostate issues cos my dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer aged 65 though he had no symptoms. They controlled it for a while but it eventually spread and he died aged 75.

Suppose youre doing all you can. Im sure theres things you can do to help with it. Isnt cranberry juice meant to be good?

I’m not sure about cranberry juice. Some sites say it’s good but others say it irritates the bladder more?!

Same with decaf tea and coffee. Some advice says it’s OK and others that it’s not. It’s all a bit of a minefield tbh!

Acidic juices like cranberry, orange and grapefruit are best avoided. Apple, pear and pomegranate are better for you.
