How many slipped out early today?

Pushing for a winner, and still they fuck off early. Are these people real? or programmed automatons?
People can come and go as they want. How many people miss the first 5 minutes coming in late from the pub, how many miss 5/10 minutes having a pint at half time? So if someone wants to leave 5 minutes early to avoid sitting in traffic for an hour it’s their business. Any fan who turns up has my respect.

It’s embarrassing sometimes like , we are probably the best supported team in the country really when you consider what we have been through but the amount of people that leave early must be more than anywhere else in the country .

Exactly this I leave on 88 minutes otherwise I miss the first set of buses an have to wait another 30 odd minutes for them to come back, I see it as no different to people chucking pints down their neck before the match or at half time that return to their seat a couple of minutes into the action.
Honestly not trying to be a nob but is there something at home that can’t just wait an extra 30 mins? Like I assume you have planned the bulk of your Saturday around the match, made the effort to go and watch and you then miss possibly the defining moments of the match

So there is a set of say 6 buses that do the park and rid (I've made the 6 up but its somewhere in that ball park) if you dont get on the first set of six you need to wait for them all to go and deliver people and then travel back to the ground before the next set load up.

Stand in a queue waiting for the buses to come back, quite often in the rain

If the weather's good do you stay til the end?

We are the worst in the country for it in my opinion also, but people will deny it.

Poor public transport, no roads east, years of shite performances have led to it being engrained, I don't know what it is. A combination of all of the above probably.

That's cool and its a fair question - I just hate waiting and wasting time I get really annoyed as sad as that is, so just exercise my choice to sod off and leave early. If I miss a goal then so be it, that's the chance I take. This isn't for every game (derby days, play off games etc) but for run of the mill games the majority of which feel like they are usually decided by 88 mins then I just take the risk.

Noticed posts come up like this all the time when we get beat or have a bad game! Just get on with it if people leave so be it ! Got nothing to do with anyone what they do! If someone has to leave for personal reasons or even go for a piss at anytime are they going to be singled out? And if certain people think it is just our club that leaves early they are delusional happened at Man utd Arsenal and Liverpool over the years and many other teams
